Q: so im lost in how i should wire my subs. I have two subs that i need to wire both are 2 ohms 400 watts i don't know if i should wire them parallel or series if you can help me out that would be great!: usually all sub wiring is the same, youll have the rca cables and antenna wire comming from the radio to the amp, power and ground wire going from amp to battery and ground, and than should have 2 wires coming off each sub to the amp, im guessing thatd be parallel, if you wire in series, so like use 2 wires and splice off to each sub, so 2 wires off the amp powering each sub you would up the ohms and put a too much of a load on the amp, people only wire in series when they have too many subs and not enough outlets on the amp, good luck

Q: (For my PC)I want to have a quadrophonic speakers (4 channels), but i want to extend 2 speakers, but their wires are limited and cant extend enough to reach my rear? what should i do?is it as simple as, cut the speaker wires and extend it with a common copper wire that you mostly found on most appliance you found on your home?: It would be best to replace the short wire with new wire of the proper length! Use speaker wire, it will cost less and that's why it's made! But, what you said would work, most likely!

Q: I keep trying to strip this damned wire but the copper wire inside the tubeing constantly ends up getting split apart instead of staying together. Im pretty sure Im doing it right Ive done it before easily. The wire is very old though could that be the problem?: A good stripper has settings for each wire size. Make sure you have it set to the correct size. Are you nicking the wire or cutting some of the strands? if not, then that the wire gets split is not a problem. Just twist the strands back together. ending up stranded? the wire starts out solid or stranded, you can't make solid into stranded. .

Q: im confused which wires are what, theres two wires...no colors?: To do it right you need a continuity tester to figure which wire is what in the socket and definitely need a grounding wire.Call an electrician.

Q: I am wiring a sony xplod amp up in my car and need to know what the skinny blue wire goes to. Any help would be appreciated.: Run a fused (1 amp, 14 AWG) wire from a fuse in the fuse panel that only has power when the car is ON to one side of a switch. From the other side of the switch run the same sized wire to the REM (remote) connection on the amp. This allows for full control and you never have to worry about forgetting to turn off the amp. The switch is so you can turn off the amp at will so as not to give grandma a heart attack in the car. You can find fuse taps and in-line fuse holders at any autoparts store.
