- Q:Was it as difficult as all the hype ? What was the hardest part?Estimates for having done are 8-10K, just can't pay that.
- I did it with glue down engineered hardwood at my friend's house. The only difficulty was that the few parts of the floor that weren't completely level had a little give at first. With time, the floor will settle into any minor dips. Any major dips or cracks in the concrete will need to be leveled by skimming, which is basically just thinning down thinset mortar and using a squeegy (not sure if I spelled that right) to spread it. It went down really easily.
- Q:Can you use a steam cleaner on engineered hardwood floors?
- Yes. Stanley Steamer says so to!
- Q:How long is the service life of solid wood flooring?
- Composite wood floor thickness is generally divided into 12 mm and 15 mm, parquet parquet more then said the cost is higher, more expensive, but the use of better, feel more comfortable. Of course, the thickness of the wood composite floor, in fact, mostly refers to the solid wood composite floor surface of fine wood.
- Q:Multi tier solid wood flooring how much money a square
- How to use simple method to examine aggrandizement floor to decorate a layer to be good or bad? Imported superior decorative layer waterproof and moisture-proof, anti ultraviolet radiation, non fading, anti-static, natural color texture. Compared with the naked eye observation, it should be pure color, color is positive, clear grain, scar section realistic, natural and generous, strong sense of solid wood. 5, identify the pros and cons of the floor to the ten look at whether it belongs to the store sales. There is no authorization, there is no authoritative certificate issued by the state departments of the product certificate and mark of international quality certification and China environment; there is no inspection report (some test report is not real, to see the inspection report of the supervision and inspection checks, whether original or daily). If not, may be of low quality Liepin floor
- Q:Hi, we recently had some engineered hardwood installed in our new home. We currently have a dining table and chairs that have the roll legs on the chairs. This concerns me, do we have to be worried about making marks on our beautiful new floors? It is a floating floor system, we have heating pads under them. Thanks!!
- First, it depends on the sealant and how many coats were put on. This would protect the floor, but over time would need to be re-sealed. Can you let me know if this was sealed, with what sealant if you know and how many coats.
- Q:Is it safe to burn engineered hardwood flooring?
- If okorder
- Q:Solid wood floor disk beans 602 price
- Currently on the market of wood flooring manufacturers and brands are dazzling, dizzying, three products meet the eye everywhere. So buy sure to know the floor of the brand and reputation. Try to buy well-known brand flooring. 5 through the above steps of the investigation and Research on the floor, color, grade specifications, price has been aware of, that is, to determine the direction of the purchase and ready to pay for the purchase.
- Q:I am looking for a good quality wood floor that, if its not real wood, it atleast looks like real hardwood. Like all home owners, I would like a flooring that looks great, is durable, easy to clean, and doesn't sound like your walking on plastic when wearing heels. Also important to note; 1) I own a large Husky 2) my home is on a concrete slab 3) I would like to maximize resale of my home. All or any advice is appreciated.... especially if you know of particular brands of good quality. Thank you!
- Engineered hardwood is by far better than laminate. It is stronger and more durable. It is a better quality and will last longer and have a better resale value. Each wood has a hardness value - the harder the better b/c it will less likely to dent.
- Q:what looks the best, what is the softest for a baby to fall on?
- The best looking in my opinion is the real wood, which is what it sounds like, wood cut to fit together to make a floor. Softness, really not much difference. Engineered flooring and laminate are both factory made flooring systems that resemble wood floors. My daughter is 9 months old, and we just replaced real wood floors which were cracking and splintering, with laminate.
- Q:What is better for a townhouse we cannot do normal hardwood due to the concreet bottom so it's between engineered hardwood (Brazilian Cherry Br111) or the wood laminate(Pergo Brazilian Cherry). What's better?
- Hardwood flooring would give you the best resale for the money, but is expensive. Hardwood could run anywhere from 3 to 10 dollars per square foot. If it is scratched, it can be sanded and redone later on. Engineered is a hardwood floor, but cannot be refinished in case something happens. Also costs around 2.5 to 4 dollars square foot. Laminate looks a little cheaper, but will hold up better than hardwood or Engineered in the long run. I would suggest the Pergo 30 year warranty. Hardwood has to be nailed down to the floor, Engineered has to be tacked or glued down and laminate is free floating. In the case of the hardwood and engineered, you would have to pull up the ceramic tile. With laminate, you MAY not have to do that. Laminate in stock should cost around 2 to 4 dollars a square foot. A lot of laminate floors now look like the real thing. I suggest you do some window shopping to find out for yourself.
