Q: do gas fork lifts produce more co2 than cars or do cars still produce more?
There are more cars than fork lifts. A lot more. So as a group cars produce more CO2 than fork lifts. OK, so one fork lift probably has a smaller engine than one car, so it would produce less CO2 than a car. But I am only assuming that the engine is smaller. A big fork lift could have a bigger engine than a car. Bottom line is that the amount of CO2 is 100% determined by the fuel consumption of the engine. 1 gallon of gasoline burned will produce the same amount of CO2 no matter what engine burns it. So your answer can easily be answered by keeping records of how many gallons of gasoline are used per day and just ignore the type of vehicle or engine. This is different than traditional 'pollution'. Traditional pollution is unburned hydrocarbons and other unnecessary byproducts of inefficient burning of the fuel. These can be largely eliminated by good engine design and add on pollution control systems like catalytic converters. But a 100% perfectly clean engine with no traditional pollution at all will still produce the amount of CO2 and H2O that the chemical equations for burning the gasoline theoretically require. The CO2 and H2O were never considered pollution before global warming became an issue. That is because those gasses are a natural and necessary part of the atmosphere, unlike the unburned hydrocarbons and other byproducts. And the CO2 and H2O can never be cleaned up by building a better engine or by scrubbing the exhaust. They can ONLY be reduced by burning less fuel by making the engine smaller or running it less and can only be eliminated completed by never running the engine at all.
Q: What are the main categories of car lifts?
Single-column lift, double-column (two-column) lift, gantry lift, sub-large lift hoist, ultra-thin double shear lift, to the scissors lift, mobile lift
Q: Where do you place them? I know where the jack up points are on the sides (I work mainly on Hondas and there are 2 jack points on each side, points about a foot from the wheels).Well, if you want to jack the front driver side wheel off the ground, you use the floor jack to lift at the nearest point, but then where do you put the jack stand? Don‘t you want to have the car on the jack stand and not supported by a rolling floor jack?Is it safe to jack up anywhere along the frame?Where do you jack up the rear? The tow hook?Where do you jack up the front? The frame middle below the radiator? Oil pan to lift engine (after removing some mounts)?
All i know is use the jackpoints on the car. if u want to use the differental to lift the back. no harm done
Q: The car is suspended beneath the helicopter by a steel cable. What is the lift force exerted on the air by the helicopter‘s rotor? (Hint: this will be the upward applied force acting on the helicopter.)
F ma is your toddler right here. For the 1st one, how a lot weight might desire to the rotors raise? they might desire to lift the burden of the vehicle and the helicopter proper? So we upload them mutually. 5000kg + 1500kg 6500kg total that the rotors might desire to lift. all of us comprehend that the acceleration with the aid of gravity is 9.81m/s2, however the helicopter is accelerating upwards at 0.6m/s2. If its accelerating up, its making the burden sense like its heavier than it fairly is. So we upload the accelerations. 9.80 one + 0.6 10.41m/s2. Now in simple terms substitute into F ma F 6500kg * 10.41m/s2 67665 N For B, the stress interior the cable might in simple terms be the rigidity of the vehicle proper? Cuz the cable is in simple terms conserving the vehicle up. So returned F ma F 1500kg * 10.41m/s2 15615N
Q: I had a c-section 2 weeks ago and I havent been lifting nothing heavy just like I have been told from the doctor. I am trying to go out for a walk so I wonder if opening the stroller and placing the car seat with the baby of course is gonna be too much. The baby weights around 9 pounds I am not sure how much the car seat is.
the tire will last around 30-40k miles, the cost is a bit more than conventional tires due to the load rating of the tire. i think they may cost maybe $30 more than regular tire. but if you put the wrong load rating on there they will not last long at all. so the extra cost is well worth it.
Q: what is the name or a name of a lift on a car because i want to put 24s on a buick century
umm im thinkin the word DUMB?....or maybe IGNORANT? dont lift a freakin car, if you wanna lift something lift weights or a freakin truck
Q: I either want a corvette, or a lifted z71/gmc. I'm 17, and have been driving my aunts 07 gt. but now she's coming back from Europe and will want her car back. So now my parents Re going to buy me a car. I'm in the south, I like to mud and go off road, but also love to go fast and switch lanes. In stuck between a 2002 Vette and 04 gmc 10inch lift extended cab. Gas isn't a problem I have enough for an 8cyl.
OH NO, another speed demon on the highways. Forget the Corvette. Ins and the body damage you will get after 'going fast and switching lanes will kill you if the crash doesn't. A lifted truck will end up on it's roof with your style of driving...... I was 17 once, and I can tell you I am lucky to be alive today, as I was just like YOU back then. Fortunately for ME, there were about 1/4 as many cars to run into back in THOSE days.
Q: In a hydraulic lift, the radii of the pistons are 2.02 cm and 9.6 cm. A car weighing W 11.5 kN is to be lifted by the force of the large piston. (a) What force Fa must be applied to the small piston?answer in N(b) When the small piston is pushed in by 9.8 cm, how far is the car lifted?answer in mmplease help me out i dont get it.it would be greatly appreciated if anyone can answer this for me thanks :)(c) Find the mechanical advantage of the lift, which is the ratio W / Fa.
You can BUT I really do NOT suggest it. there is different technologies and grips and etc. involved that is different and special for each and every sport
Q: How to debug a two-row lift wire rope
Purchase equipment, will be attached to the equipment manual, which must have debugging equipment, you can also contact the manufacturer customer service, they may be able to provide debugging equipment video, look at the video more direct than the instructions.
Q: 95 Town car rear air suspension started to drop intermittently. Then stopped all together. Compressor runs for a few minutes after I start the car, then the (Check air suspension) light comes on, rear never raises up. I assumed that it was the level switch on the rear axle, changed it without verifying that was the problem, didn‘t fix the issue. Im thinking one of the relief valves on the airbags is stuck open, or a leak in the hose. But the fact that it was intermittent for a while then just stopped working makes me think mechanical. Would just one relief valve stuck open cause the whole rear to sag? What else would cause this symptom? Front works just fine.
I had the same problem, the air pump would come on and level, then shut off. the rubber air suspension bags are getting old and cracked from all the up and down flexing of the suspension Order the air suspension bags from Auto Zone Parts Store or go to their computer web sight and order, I believe about $130.00 each then go to Midas Muffler shop or a small in dependent shop and have them installed. Ford, Lincoln Garage will nail you about $900.00. You! can also replace the rear air suspension with heavy coil springs from a Ford Crown Victoria.or Mecury Marques
