- Q: I need a longer power cable for my xbox 360 dvd drive, can anyone tell me where I can find out on OKorder?Or what its called? I type in dvd drive power cables on OKorder, but only the short stock ones show up I need one with about 10 inches or so.Thanks!Can these be found in radioshack?
- They will ban you, but only if you try and go online with the sata disconnected, or disconnect it when you are online. Provided you haven't tampered with the drive and put it back properly BEFORE you go back online it should be fine. At least, it was fine for us. Disconnect the Ethernet cable while you carry this out to be on the safe side.
- Q: I'm installing a new hard drive and I need an extra power cable. Thing is, I've only got one in my computer (15 pin SATA) I have a spare SATA port for the data, so that's not a problem. Anyone know of any multipliers or some way i can add an extra power cable?Thanks in advance
- you are able to split the capacity cable with a a million--to--2 capacity connection. yet you are able to't split an information cable (the flat pink one). you choose yet another cable and a 2d connection on the MB. If no 2d connection, you may get a SATA card to flow in a PCI slot. Have performed the two between the above.

- Most motherboards come with1 or 2 SATA cables. Keep in mind that this may not always be true.
- Q: In the middle of the page there is a section called Connectors, i suppose those are the cables attatched to the PSU, but in total there are 17 cables so maybe i am wrong???It says that there are 6 SATA Cables that look like SATA Power Cables and are i guess haha.I'm pretty sure that the answer is yes, the PSU does have 6 SATA Power Cables attatched to it, but i mean when spending $750 on a gaming computer i wanna be sure lol.
- SATA Power Connector: 6 - YES it does have. If your spending $750 on a computer i'd suggest you get a branded power supply, they last longer and will supply your video card with enough juice to get the job done. what kind of video card are you getting? depending on what card your getting 500 watts may or may not be enough, as the new nvidia cards are very juicy :)

- It's a universal AC power cord. The same one you would use for most other flat panels, desktop pcs, and the PS3. Go to your local Best Buy. They have them in 2 places: Playstation 3 accessories or the PC cable isle in Computers. $10 give or take a couple bucks.
- Q: Ok A few months ago i bought parts for a brand new pc and recently got the video card and well the power supply PCI-e cable is a 6 pin and the motherboard requires a 4 pin. - EIDE (Enhanced IDE) is no longer a standard on most computers which uses SATA. In turn, they also use different power connections. The channel cable is dependent on the mother board, but the power supply is dependent on the power box. If there is an IDE channel, but no power cable, you have only two options. 1. Buy a new SATA based drive. 2. But a new power supply. Buying a new power supply to replace the one you have is definitely a void of warranty. You are much better off with a new drive.
- Q: Someone gave me a KDSusa LCD monitor. It doesn't have the usual spot on the back of it for me to plug in a power cable. I've never seen a monitor without the power cord plug in the back. There's a hole/plug on the side of the blue part that goes into the computer...I thought maybe that's where a some sort of power cord would go but I'm not sure. HELP!
