Product properties:
1. The long-term working temperature allowed by overhead conducting wires is 70°C;
2. When there are large-span rare weather conditions and there is less ice coating occurring in heavy ice areas, maximum stress the lowest point of the conductor sag should not be more than 60% of instantaneous destructive power;
3. When the wires are connected, strands around the connecting pipe should not bulge, otherwise the strands of wires in operation will be unevenly stressed, after the joints are pressed, outlets of connecting pipe should be covered with moisture-proof paint to prevent corrosion;
4. When the wires are installed, sag stress of all the wires at the same gear should be the same, and within the range permitted by the limited distances to the ground and exceeding the distance for protection of building, the conducting wire stress can be higher by 10-15% than normal tension. - Q:Have a 480 volts 3 phase 16 amp motor. Need 400 ft of extention cord. Is is OK to use a SOOW 10/4 cable, the voltage drop is 2.67%(12 volts). Machine is powerd by a generator that I can run at 500 volts to counter the voltage drop.8/4 cable cost twice as much, but the voltage drop is 1.7%(8 volts).
- If you have the ability to increase the voltage to compensate for the volt drop and the cable has sufficient current carrying capacity, then you are fine. The volt drop will cause a little wasted power but nothing compared to cable costs probably. Presumably your boosted voltage generator wont be powering anything else or that will give you problems Edit, Cables are rated in rms voltage
- Q:I'm building another computer to give to someone, i have all the parts and when it got down to installing the CD drive and the Hard drive i plugged the sata cables into the motherboard but when i looked to install them to the power supply mine did not have any of those cables. I had spare cables from my other power supply but they require you to plug them into the power supply but since the other power supply is older it doesn't work. I was wondering if i could get cables that plug into the extra connectors then to the CD drive/ Hard drive instead of plugging them into the power supply then the CD drive/ Hard drive.
- There's 2 types of power connectors, old style 4-pin Molex and Sata power. Adapters are pretty cheap, just check Monoprice.
- Q:when you install a power cable you usually route it through the door seal and under the carpet. If there are existing speaker wires that go to your rear speakers, will the power cable create an interference?
- The speakers are probably just being under-driven. Meaning they need more juice to operate efficiently (Like they were designed). Factory speaker wires tend to be small AWG, but I think you will find that larger wires wont make much of a difference in this case. However if you are going to add an amp, you should go ahead and run some aftermarket wires. I once changed out some speakers in a 97 taurus with the same results. Worse than stock.
- Q:the adapter is fine but the safety pin (the big one) on my power cable broke, do you know where I can buy the power cable for an HP pavilion dv9500 laptop? on the cable it says quot;LS-15 7A 125V LINETEK E70782quot;.also, is it safe to use it although the 3rd pin is gone? it still works but i wouldn't want to fry my notebook...thank you
- Contact HP, this laptop was designed for Vista so more than likely there are no drivers available for xp.
- Q:I found some cable online that I can use, but haven't had any experience with any of this.
- Years ago, Belden made the best RG59, but that may have changed by now. I can't imagine anyone using RG59 any more, unless they are co-phasing mobile CB antennas... or setting up CCTV systems. Cable and satellite TV providers long ago changed to RG56, and then to RG6, because RG59 has excessive losses at some of the frequencies used for these services. As to prices, compare the cost of the same thing from at least five different sources.
- Q:Hi, just moved to Finland from US. Will my x box 360 works with a new powell cable? Or do I need something else besides that. And where should I get it from in Turku or Helsinki. Thank you!
- Go back to US
- Q:Many of the complete amplifier kits, example rated for a 700 watt amplifier come with a 10 gauge power cable. Many of the gauge charts from the online car audio techs, would recommend a 4 gauge wire, but they sell the amp kits with the 10 gauge. I guess bigger is better, more efficient and safer for the installation, but I would expect them to add some * adjacent to the kit specs with their recommendation.
- here okorder /... for subs i would go no smaller than 4gauge remember that if you want to upgrade in the future you will have to remove all of the old wire if its not thick enough and its more time/cost effective to go with the thicker stuff from the gate and use a distribution block to down size the wire at the amp
- Q:Will that work, just get the new country's type of power cable? its a 4gb 360 slim
- Just get a power converter and plug it in to that. Much easier.
- Q:The difference between the power cable YJY22 and YJY23 is in the outermost layer, one for the PE sheathed, one for the PVC sheathed. What is the applicable environment, and why? Question added: I have to ask is the difference between 22 and . not 22 and 32! Thank you for the answer. Learn more together
- 35 square copper wire current carrying capacity is 105A, 105A / 35 mm2 = 3A, (1 square millimeter carrying capacity is 3A) 70 square copper wire current carrying capacity is 169A, 169A / 70 square millimeters = 24A (1 square millimeter carrying capacity is 24A) 1 square hai load current from 11A gradually become 24A So it is impossible to use n by the coefficient can be drawn to the current value Wire can carry the current * the applied voltage * power factor = can drive power The diameter of the wire with different diameter is not the same No specific diameter can not know the current carrying capacity How much power, depending on the voltage level Because P = UI As the saying goes: a square 4 current, underground than this small forget How much is the square here is a square millimeter Power depends on your voltage, the general small line can be directly by 5 is to eat the current to 50-120 the basic can take more than 35 can take 25 or so just personal experience to do reference to the need for basic data: 1 line, copper and iron Aluminum silver temperature 3 core number 4 diameter Probably take a square 5A diameter n square of the wire can be over n high current, resulting in n high power so that can be calculated
- Q:I bought an SATA hard drive off someone that appears to use a 15-pin connector. There does not appear to be any other connectors on the back. How does this thing get powered? I have another SATA hard drive that uses the regular 7-pin connector, and on the back, just like an IDE drive, it has a place to connect the power. This SATA hard drive though just has that big 15-pin connector in the back, and nothing else.
