Q:what is the best cleaning solution for cleaning carpets?: use eco-friendly products.

Q:Ok so my friend threw up on my other friends carpet so she freaked and grabed toliet cleaner and put it on the carpet and then it hardend now its stiff on the carpet. We tryed everything I tryed a steam cleaner and lots of other cleaners and no luck can some one help do you maybe know a remedy please help: Probably the fibers are now chemically burned. No remedy. If the closets are carpeted, cut a patch from the back corner and exchange with the damaged section. Use double sided carpet tape to hold down the patch. In the future have some enzyme carpet cleaner for vomit and use that after cleaning up the chunks. Actually club soda works wonders.......

Q:I have a Palomino/Arab 2 Thoroughbred X Race Horses, We are in the process of having Stables built on the field which should be ready within 2 weeks. I feed the 3 of them twice a day, once in the mornings and remove the rugs, one in the afternoon/evening and replace the rugs. They have waterproof lightly insulated Castle rugs that seem to be keeping them warm but I can't help but worry about them. When they are in the Stables should I just use quilted Stable Rugs when it gets really Cold? What rugs/food do you suggest for different seasons for these type of horses. The Palomino is 1yr4months and around 14.3 with a good weight, the thoroughbreds are 6yrs old 15.2, 7 yrs old 16.1 with poor weight due to coming from the races I want to do my best to fatten them up and provide them with a calm lifestyle. Thanks Alot.: I never reccomend rugging at all. Why? Because at the base of each hair, there is a muscle that can move each hair. This makes them able to insulate themselves, or cool themselves off. When the horse is wearing a rug, the muscles can't work, because the rug is keeping the hair down. Like any muscle, it atrophies and soon, the horse can't move the muscles at the base of the hair, and it has no way of controlling body temperature without a rug or fan in the summer. In your case, the 2 racehorses should probably be lightly rugged at night and when its really cold (like in the negatives, if it gets that cold where you live). And I also don't reccomend clipping your horses (idk if you do or not). Your palomino should be fine without a rug though. If you feel you must, just do it for short periods. As for food, make sure you provide as much hay as the horses will eat, 24/7. For the tb's, adding 1/4 cup of corn oil to the grain every day could do some good. And make sure you are giving them grain.

Q:For use in a carpet cleaning machine.: dunno about that but as a quick solution for vacuming,try sprinkling bicab of soda on to carpets,leave for 10 mins and vacum as normal,it get srid of any odors and freshens up until you clean them properly

Q:My ex landlord is charging me pro-rated costs to replace the entire carpet. While I don't think the carpet needs to be replaced, they said they couldn't get all the carpet installed before the new tenant moved in that they will replace the carpet upon the exit of the new tenant, whenever that may be. Can the legally do that? They've sent me receipts for the carpet cleaning have deducted the pro-rated amount to replace all the carpet. FYI I moved out the end of June, they sent me estimates the end of July now in January they've just sent me the invoices, I asked, for the work they completed, the new tenant moved in-in August.: I would be fighting this issue, especially since they charged you for carpet cleaning.

Q:My grandmother just purchased a new rug to replace her old carpet. It moves very easily so it was recommended that she buy rug padding and attach it to the floor under the rug. She's worried that it will need to be stapled to the floor and in the event that the rug needs to be lifted/moved in a hurry she wont be able to move the padding, and it could get damaged.So my question, more specificially: Is there another way to apply the padding under the rug without permanently securing it (ie: staples)? Or is there a special rug padding that doesn't need to be stapled? And in your opinion, will this alternative way make the rug just as immovable?Thanks!: I don't see why you couldn't get some carpet cut.. My basement has exactly that. The carpet has padding under naturally, but im sure you can get more padding for under it its that pricey for padding.

Q:Have you or anyone you know had any allergy problems after getting new carpet?: Yes, my daughter. Depending on the materials and such the carpet and padding can be treated with all kinds of chemicals to water or stain proof it or fire retardants and such. The material that the carpet is made out of can cause problems. Synthetic fibers in the carpet and the foam in the carpet padding can be the source of the problem. For my daughter it was dust mites and the foam padding. If stored in a moist warehouse the carpet could also have mold spores but just enough for the allergy stricken. If you haven't had allergy problems before then do several deep cleanings of your carpet and use an anti-allergy wash. Your local allergist can hook you up with a list of products and providers.

Q:How do you deal with water stains on woolen carpets soaked in water?: The multi-layer structure of the carpet, making it easy to bury the stains, dirt, stains on the carpet surface not only, and will go deep into the fibrous tissue tangled supporting layer, soil and sand into the second, third supporting layer, become the hidden dirt, continue to damage the carpet fiber. The carpet is constantly rubbing, and the stains and dirt will bury deeper and deeper.
