Q: why do mexicans sell rugs to kids?
Selling rugs or having kids as customers is not a very profitable business.
Q: how to lay a carpet on the iron sheet In the winter?
First, clean up the stairs and then brush a layer of floor glue and put a carpet on the it.
Q: There's some ash on the carpet. What can I do with it?
Or soak the old sheets with water, wring them off, place them on the carpet, and then beat with sticks, and the dust is absorbed on the damp cloth. I hope I can help you
Q: My Condo is 624 sq.ft., and I plan to remodel, and remove old carpet flooring, and replace.
There are tons of price ranges for carpet out there. One of the main things that effects carpet price is the composition. The 2 main compositions are polyester and nylon. Polyester is the kind that seems to clog up my vaccum with thread residue. Polyester is inferior to nylon. It will not last as long as nylon, but you will pay less. All types of carpet, berber, cut piles, cutloops come in all price ranges. I, personally, don't prefer berber as I have cats that will take up the loops and it's super casual. If you go to one of the big box stores, you will be safe with a nylon in a $2.50/sqft range. It won't be top quality, but it won't be contractor-quality either. When you're searching for carpet (what a task!) you'll want to pay attention to the face weight as well. That is, essentially, how much a carpet weighs per sqft or sqyd (or, how much thread is it composed of). The higher the face weight, ordinarily the more resilient the carpet will be in the long haul. The best carpets have a face weight over 70 or so. The commerical or contractor grade carpets are usually in the 30's. Best of luck!
Q: I built my own box, sounds great but looks terrible without carpet.
I would walk into a local carpet shop and purchase a few feet of carpet. Carefully measure out the holes and whatnot of the box. After you have everything cut out use staples (your choice, just using an example) to get the carpet on the box. For best results try getting a thin carpet.
Q: Okay.. Stupid question:Will a horse get caught up or whatever if they decide do roll while wearing a winter rug? Or will they be okay??Just wondering, cause I'm curious :)
Generally they are fine as long as the straps are properly adjusted, however, being horses they can usually find some way of damaging the rug with very little effort - mine usually manages to lose the leg straps. If a horse did get caught it is more likely that the rug would tear ( they have built-in weak spots) than that the horse would get seriously stuck.
Q: I was cleaning my room, and the rug smelled funny so I got some carpet cleaner spray and some water, and scrubbed a large section of it. And that was like 2 days ago!And it still feels soaking wet.I'm scared it might mold. And I'm not sure if my mom is going to get one of those rug cleaner vaccums. And ideas on how I can dry the carpet?
if you have access to a shop vacuum use it to suck out as much of the moisture as possible KO, here,s what else you can do. wipe the area with a big towel try to pick up as much water /moisture as you can , if you have a space heater place it by the wet area and leave it till rug is dry. no space heater? then place a fan aim it at the wet spot same thing leave it till dry, also i know you must have a hair dryer.you can use it the same way you would if drying your hair you can also rent a commercial fan for drying out wet areas at any rental store ..good luck please don't try to use your vacuum cleaner the water will wipe out the motor.
Q: I am going to pay to have my carpets cleaned. What is your opinion on the best way/method and service? (USA)
I have used the rug doctor and it does a good job. But I would recommend you hire a carpet cleaning service. With a rug doctor you really need 2 people and it's really not an easy job. I think the steamer method that the profressionals use is best because it doesn't leave any soap behind in the carpet which attracts dirt and the carpet will have to be cleaned again sooner.
Q: If I were to knit a throw rug, what size needles and what type of yarn would work best for the project?
I would probably crochet a throw rug rather than knit, but if you're determined... Definitely use a chunky weight or extra bulky yarn, or use 3 strands of worsted weight together. Use size 15 or larger knitting needles - circular if you can get them if you're going to make a fairly large rug.
Q: ive been looking online but i have no idea what size to get him.. he is a pacer or a trotter, standard bred// i think 19hands..all the rugs ive found online say 5.9 6.0 etc.. how do i know what.what my horse is?
