Q: What is size rug would a 14.2hh connemara type pony need? Also what basic rugs would a pony whos turned out and stabled need? Thanks
Average Rug Sizes
Q: I have two dogs and I am so tired of all the fur on the rugs.
I desire you may make clean the question. Do you merchandise basically to fur, or additionally to leather-based? What approximately eating meat? To me, there is not any ethical or ethical distinction between any of those issues. I devour meat and that i positioned on leather-based, so I have not have been given any reason to criticize all and sundry who wears fur. If somebody avoids all animal byproducts, I understand their perspective, whether i do no longer trust it. If somebody products to specific animal products yet no longer others, then they have not fairly theory the concern by way of alright.
Q: The problem with putting a rug on carpet is that the natural nap in the rug and the nap in the carpet work against each other. Makes bumps like you wouldn't believe (even if no one walks on it). Furniture on top of the rug makes it worse.Does anyone else have this problem and if so have you been able to fix it, or at least minimize the bumps on the rug?
Dawn is right.. The special rug to carpet under layment ( its not really a pad). Its thin and feels tacky but leaves no residue. These underlayments are real thin and will pick up dirt naturally and loose their tackiness but you can toss them in the washer and they come back to work again. Some one will tell you to get the shelf liner material, this is not the same stuff and can leave marks.
Q: I have berber carpet in my living room and every couple of days i will see this white stuff just magically appear on the top of the carpet. I go to wipe it away and it seems to be nothing, like it just disappears, nothing left on the towel or on the rug like it just vanishes. It's in the same spot every time. Could something be growing under the carpet? If so, is it mold and how can I fix it?
It sounds like a powder carpet deodorizer was once used on the carpet and is now walking to the surface. These gimmick products are a real nuisance once they have been administered to the carpet. According to directions they are supposed to be vacuumed from the carpet, however, that is near impossible with out a mega ton beater bar and a super volcanic vacuum cleaner. Mold only grows in high humidity, needing a food source, such as extremely soiled carpet or upholstery, wood or paper. Berber carpet, if Olefin is a tough carpet to vacuum as the fibers run horizontal with the floor, soil, spills, etc, hide under neath the carpet strands. Place your hand on the counter top, spread your fingers, imagine a spill on top of your hand, The spill will migrate down between your fingers and position itself on the bottom of your fingers. That's how Olefin carpeting is made, tough to vacuum and tough to even professionally clean.
Q: i have a extra room in my house that used to be a lil girls room. the carpet is sort of a reddish pinkish color. i dont have a girl anymore and would like to turn the room into a play room for my son. can i dye the carpet? if so wat colors could i change it to and where could i get the dye?
The easiest and surest way to change the color is to change the carpet. If the present carpet is nylon, there is no way to dye it evenly. Go to commercial carpet installer house and purchase an end run from a job of a color that works for you...you will spend far less money doing this than trying to dye a carpet that will make a mess. Choose level loop commercial carpet....will never wear out under residential use.
Q: How to better manage the carpet warehouse?
It depends on what kind of carpet it is. Wool carpet is not suitably stored in cold and wet environment, and try not to put it in the sun. Because the moisture absorption of wool is relatively good, and the color fades fast in the sun. Try to keep the air circulation in the depositary. But one thing is sure that it needs to dry, ventilate, spray insect-resist agent.
Q: I have a massive rug on my floor carpet. We have it because our carpet is maroon and carpet is brighter so during the day and night, the room doesn't look that dark. The problem i am facing is that my rug is sliding/moving (slowly) towards the way we walk. I have tried the Rug Tape that we stick under the rug to give it grip, that did not work.I am wondering what other solutions maybe. I will only Screw my rug to the carpet/floor if that is my only option. Every week, we have to move the swing (indoor), the heavy sofa, bird cage (we have pets) and other furniture to actually fix it and it takes a lot of time. I need multiple options if possible, but hopefully some of you may have had this and found a great solution for it. I am willing to spend money to get this problem Fixed. My option does not include getting rid of the rug.Thank you for helping.
There are very thin mats especialy made to stop rugs from running like yours is doing. Sold where ever flooring is sold. They feel tacky but will leave no residue . Placed under the rug they stop the rug from scooting or moving when walked on. Get the type mage for rugs over carpet because some are for rugs over hardwood and rugs over a solid surface. Know your rug size since they come in many sizes and can be cut to fit using scissors. They do loose the tacky feeling over time and you just wash them on a gentle cycle to revive that tackinesss. Any questions you can e mail me through my avatar. GL
Q: i've asked this question 3 times before, but it hasn't worked :(Red is booked in for a trace/blanket clip in a couple of days, and i was wondering if i would need to rug her up a little bit more? she is a thoroughbred chestnut (someone told me that chestnuts have thinner skin??) and is in a 100g fill w/ a neck rug atm....the coldest it has been lately would be about 10/11 degrees c....the next rug we have is a 250g fill with neck rug, so it's quite a step up...Um... yeah... would i need to start putting that on, or do you think she will be O.K??
to be completley honest it is not the best time to clip a horse , the best time is october-november the reason im saying this is that the clip will have grown back by september as winter hair starts to grow but if you do it october then it should last until may the following year. But anyways to answer your question i would go woth the lighter rug during the day if its warmer and maybe if it is a cold night but the other heavy neckrug on or a simple sweatsheet under the light sheet. what im saying is that the light non neck rug is fine unless it goes below 8 degrees
Q: How do I clean cat fur stuck to clothes and carpets?
Brush for brushing - cleaning clothes, hair on fabricThis is a one-way grain suede brush face brush, brush in one direction, all kinds of wool will stick on the brush face, and then brought down by hand can be, generally used to brush sheets, rug cat hair, the effect is also good. This brush is most suitable for brushing wool on woolen clothes.
Q: Does anyone have or know where I might be able to get the quot;Clock Rugquot; from the kids show The Big Comfy Couch? Thanks....
Check a teacher store. They have theme rugs for classrooms and they are very durable. It may not be the exact rug but it my be very similar. There are some of these types of stores that you can order on line as well. Good Luck!
