Size of the rooms will effect the pricing since carpet comes in 12 and 15' rolls ( for the most part) and a 10x10 room will require the purchase of the same amount of carpet as a 10x12 room. Bigger rooms will require seaming and extra carpet. No professional will add 10% for scrap. A few inches is common practice for out of square rooms but 10% is a rip off. Any help or suggestions (other than start over) would be appreciated!: I used to make my own hooked rugs...just cut a patch of canvas the approx. size of that damaged area and incorporate the patch into the rest of your wool pattern...you could thread some thread first so it will stay in place as you are hooking the rug...Since it's a random pattern it will not be noticed (only from underneath) Right?

You can rent the machine that brushes the product in and then you vacuum it. th machine doesn't cost too much to rent and the results are fabulous. I kept my carpets looking like new for 10 years. When I sold my home people couldn't believe it wasn't new carpeting. Also great for allergies.
