Q: Lime Wire is a software that lets you download songs.
Watch out for small files. An MP3 files is usually about 2 or 3Mb or more depending on the bitrate. Anything less than 1Mb might be a virus. But that's no guarantee.
Q: I just bought a remote starter/keyless entry/alarm system, i'm looking to install it myself... I'm just wondering what gauge wire that most cars use.I'm assuming power wires are lower gauge then others, Could I use 16 gauge for power lines or would i need something larger? Thanks in advanced.

Q: my light stopped working ( a chandalier ). It has brown wires, blue wires, red wires, beige wires, and white wires.
How many lamps (bulbs) does it have? Larger chandeliers are capable of being switched on/off in layers (so you might have 3 switches for a 12-lamp fitting) All you can do is trace the coloured wires to each lampholder to ID live/neutrals (Multimeter with power OFF)
Q: do you match positives and negatives or positives and positives when wiring a car stereo

Q: I Have a 02 Dodge ram with the 5.9L engine and i purchased a O2 simulator because i wanted to remove the cats. what i need to know is which wire is the Signal, 12 volt, and the ground wire on the oxygen sensor. If anyone has any idea please share some info.
The wires should be color coated. Usually if it is a 4 wire o2 there are two white wires and two black wires and the blacks are both grounds. Same should go with the 2 wire o2 the black is usually the ground and the wite is the 12v wire.
Q: I changed my Sony to another car and am having problems wiring it back up. Any help on how to wire this ?
Judging from the fact that there's no CD/MP3/WMA/etc in the list of what you've got on your radio I'm going to assume it's an older one. I'm also going to assume that it's still new enough to have the now standardized wiring colors on it. Go to an installation shop and buy a plug that matches your cars year and make, connect the wiring on that plug to the one on the radio matching color to color. If there's no black wire (ground) on the car to radio plug you just bought that means you need to attach the black wire to a piece of metal that contacts the frame or firewall under your dash. If this wasn't helpful, please make a more detailed question or make me a contact and give me more detail.
Q: The house was built in the 50's. Two wires are coming up from the switch and two wires are coming down from the top of the wall. I do not see a third wire. I attached the wall light wires left wires to left wires and right wires to right wires and light stayed on, when I moved the switch it threw the breaker. So I used may combination and the switch would not make the light work. It appears one wire may be white and one black. Help please!
I think that 'ed' has given you good advice, if you know *nothing* about electrical wiring inside of the average home and about how two-way switching is wired. The two-way switch is designed for two wall switches at different locations from a common light or other electrical appliance to be able to turn the common appliance 'on' or 'off' independently from each other. If you have one of the boxes that a new two-way switch came in, it should show you, with usual wiring installed under the modern U.S. standard electrical code, which colored wires should be attached to which terminal connections at the INDIVIDUAL, separate switches. Ordinarilary the color coding for electrical wiring in the modern residence is 'white' is for the common 'ground'; 'black' is a 'hot - 115/120 volt-to-ground' wire; and the red should be a loop wire to the common appliance. When one of the wall switches is in the 'on' (up) position, and the other wall switch is in the 'off' (down) position, electrical power is furnished to the appliance. Changing the position of either of the wall switches, cuts off the power to the appliance. And changing the position of either ONE of the switches will supply power again. If you've done any wiring before, you should be able to figure it out, but follow what 'ed' suggested if you can, just to be sure.
Q: Please help,I have a 1993 Jeep Grand Cherokee LaredoThe wire harness on the hitch has 7 wires,The whole thing is shot,My Question is can i just wire in a 4 prong harness, On my trailer yellow is left turn-green is right turn-brown is stop tail, white is ground The Jeep has 7 wires a green-a tan- a brown w green stripe-a blue w red stripe-a red w blue stripe and a bigger light blue and a bigger black, can i splice into these or do i have to get a converter of some sort ,Any idea'sTHANK YOU
1.White is 10 gage and is used for a common ground. 2.Blue is 12 gage and is used for an electric brake. 3.Green is 14 gage and is used for the running/tail lights. 4.Black is 10 gage and is used as battery charge + 5.Red is14 gage and is used as the left stop/turning signal. 6.Brown is 14 gage and is used as right stop/turning signal. 7. Yellow is 14 gage and usually is auxillary poweror back up light, if available. I'd get an inexpensive tester light and double check the vehicles outlet first, before I did anything permanent. It's easy to do with an assistant.
Q: I need the wiring diagram for the 1992 Lexus ES300 OE Stereo.I specifically need to know what colors (or numbers) the wires are for the front right and front left bottom door speaker.
ur best bet is to take off the door cover and look at the speaker and go off the colors u see going into the speaker
Q: installing ceiling fan, when remove light fixture, it has 4 wires system, wires used: white red and green with one light switch, what is black for, it has a wire nut, but has nothing connect to it
Does the switch turn on from another location? Red should be hot, white neutral and green ground. Buy a cheap tester to be sure. Easy way? reconnect whatever way the light was functioning. Black should be a hot wire, but bear in mind white can be hot in a switch loop. Test it. You need 1 hot, a neutral and a ground.
