Much easier is to just get a good manual with a wiring diagram, and replace only the damaged wires, splicing at little as possible, as you go. I assume you just have some heat cracked wires, unless you had a fire or something? You can't take the harness from another car because all the connectors are going to be the wrong type, gender, or location. Especially things like the brainbox harness plug, etc.

Meaning it only has power when the ignition is on so it won't run down the battery. The easiest one to use would be the accessory port on the fuse panel. The ground needs to go to any good metal part. Find a screw that is in a large metal part, like the dash support, and wire it under the screw.

Q: I bought a new light that holds two light bulbs for my bathroom and quickly took off the old light. I then noticed that wall had three wires coming from it, a black, red, and white. The light however has four wires coming from it, 2 whites and 2 blacks. How do i wire this properly so both light bulbs can be turned on and off simultaneously?: Since you have a black, red, and white wire coming out of the wall, this tells me you have a 3-way switch (meaning the light can be controlled by two different switches, correct?) If you only have one switch operating this light, then one of the wires may be (against building code rules) used as 'ground'. If only one switch is used with the light, then you'll need to switch the breaker off, then pull out the switch and see if a wire is attached to the green screw (ground). Q: I am trying to take 4 lights in the basement that currently all have to be turned on independently and wire them all in series to a single switch. I just took the wires and put them to the switch and then to the first light. it came on but when i held the silver metal shielding piece that houses the wires, I got a tingle. Or Buy some Romex wiring 14/2 with ground and replace all the Greenfield in this circuit. You can run the wires from light to light to light.
