Q: I want to get an underground fence but i cant figure out what the difference in the wire they use and regular insullated wire. What is the difference and why can't i use regular wire instead of the wire that comes with the kit: The okorder

Q: Ceiling fan has Green, Blue, black and white and the ceiling only has a black wire and white wire.: blue and black to black and white to white. (blue is for the light) If you look deeper in the ceiling you should find a bare copper wire and that would go to the green. (if you cant find it,then wire as stated)

The black coming in gets wired to the black wire on the detector. The red gets hooked the the black in the fixture.

You can solder them, join them with crimp connectors, use wire nuts, or use screw down terminals. If the wire are for electrical house wiring, wire nuts are requires. If for low voltage inside equipement or the like, any of the listed methods will work fine.

Since heat is measured in watts, and watts (W) =I^2R, where I=Current and R= resistance, then if you double the resistance of a wire (by making it twice as long) you also double the ammount of watts lost in the wire. Since watts equates to heat, this ammount of heat will make the wire hotter. If you use an extension lead, and wind it round a drum, it can get very hot indeed.

How do I connect the 3 wires and still use my on/off switch?: Good after I used to be within the navy, electrical energy was once three phase. There was once no original. Considering the fact that its is a pump, my recommendation is disconnecting the pump out of your load. Go ahead and wire up your pump inserting the 3 wires on any terminal. If the pump rotates in reverse, stop the power and swtch any 2 wires and you are good to move.

Also i relie heavily on the 800 help line number.Some ac men will put different colors on the wrong terminals, put a sticker on the unit and when there is trouble, they will call him,if all the wires were black and he knowes where they go, you see.
