- The firewall is the bulkhead between the Passenger compartment and the engine bay. Look for a rubber grommet in the firewall/bulkhead that has existing wires going through it and use this. Some firewalls have grommets that you can use to pass your power cable through from the battery. Remember to put an in line fuse on th live cable of the correct rating.

- Q: I just bought a Sandisk MP3 player e200 series. It come with a USB connector which according to the product manual, its also used for power charging.Unfortunatly, it doesn't work with my laptop. - No it charges through the USB cable. You can use a powered USB hub or buy a USB wall plug to charge it.

- You can install a plug on the cord to replace the one that was chewed off. Choose one with the same number of prongs as the cord has wires (2 or 3). Be sure to attach each wire to the correct terminal! Splicing the cord is also OK, and tape would not be a problem if applied properly, but I prefer to use heat-shrink tubing. When I do a top-grade splice, I first twist the wires tightly together without making a tail, then I solder them.

- 220V is phase voltage. Then line voltage will be 3^-2 *220 =381V.The current will be 63A.(41.6/3*220 ).The specification of cable is 3phase 4wire 400V. 50mm^2(if aluminum) or 25mm^2(copper) UG cable . If neutral wire is not required, cable will be 3 wire type.

- what type of power cord does it use? if its a regular ac input, you could just use any ac plug with the correct amount of power <-- this isn't the recommended choice, just a posibility.
