Thank you!: You could probably buy an adapter plug for your existing cable. Getting a whole new cable might very well mess with the machine itself, and be more expensive than a simple adapter. Just go to an electronics’ store, with the cable, (the bigger the better) and ask for a suitable adapter for it.

Q: im upgrading amps from 200 to 1000 and i was wondering if the cables will restrict the current at all? right now i have a 225 watt cord set: 200 to 1000 (if you have that much power) from 20hz to 20,000hz i would sugest a dedicated line .strictly for your home theatre gear,with a good power conditioner- with some good power cords,as well as speaker cables. also on the current issue the longer the runs of speaker cables the more current you will lose ,

Q: I just put a new sound system in my boat with a sony xplod sub and amp, and also an infinity reference amp with 4 kenwood speakers. The problem i'm having is that i had to run the amp power cable right past the right rear speaker and now i'm getting a lot of feedback when the engine is turned on. Is there any way to insulate the power cable so that i don't get that annoying feedback through that one speaker? thanks-Josh: It sounds like alternator whine. you're transforming into to be a rca undesirable, floor loop, or low high quality amp. attempt working a 18ga twine from the headunit chassis to the amp chassis. If this solves the concern you have a floor loop. verify all your wiring(particularly the floor and its region) and make confident your rca cable isn't pinched and contacting a floor.

Q: i replaced my ps2 power ribbon cable with a slightly diffrent ribbon cable but it had all the connections just like the original one. i plugged in my ps and i heard that slight clicking sound of the electricity entering the ps2's cuircut such as it always has when it was working fine. but when i plug the ps2 in the lights on the power buttons wont come on and they havent come on no matter whitch way i turn the cable. i would really like to get back to KH2 bugt this is getting annoying. what is up with my ps2 that even though everything is connected i cant seem to get the power lights to come on. help!: Maybe the black big rectangle in the connection to the wall thing is damaged, maybe you need a new one

Q: i have a modular power supply i lost my cables moving out of my old house. so can any one tell me where i can get new ones to my power supply:: I don't think you can, really... Modular power supplies come with cables, they are not one size fits all, every brand and even every model might have different cables and plugs. Contacting the manufacturer will be your best bet, but it might not be worth it, might as well just buy another power supply, it's only another $45 shipping and all.

Q: I need this for my HD slim that just gets power from USB and my music class the USB items they use suck all the power.but i have a wall USB power source.: Yes I'm sure this would work. Just solder the red and black wires to an other usb cable and leave the other 2 data ones going into the computer. Plug the power usb cable into your adaptor and It should work. The device is still getting the 5volts it needs so I see no reason why it shouldn't work.

Q: I currently have a 250 watt 2 channel power cord and a 500 watt alpine amp with 2 12 inch mtx terminator subs.i am continuously blowing blade fuses and i ended up buying a 680 watt power cable. Will this blow out my amp or do any damage or will it be all good and give the maximum power my amp can supply? (Without exploding) just wondering thanks!: 250 watt power cord? Q: I was looking at buying the MSI HD6850 cyclone OC/power edition but on the msi website it says it includes an external power cable. Am I missing something? Do I need more than the standard pci-e 6 pin connector from the PSU?: Some graphics cards require you to connect a power cable to the board. As it requires more power than it can get through the pci connection.
