Any advice would be appreciated.: There appear to be various manufacturers of FSP150-AAA power supplies. You must have a substantial laptop or whatever that is powering. Most laptops have 65 to 90 watt PSU, my gaming laptop is 120 watt, and FSP150-AAA is 150 watt. Or is that an all-in-one PC where the computer is built into a screen? The one you link to is one of the ones I found in a web search.

Q: I have a power adapter that changes the tip of a power cable from the US standard to the Spain standard. My laptop has 3 prongs and the adapter accepts 2. It fits into it, but the 3rd prong just rests outside. I know the voltage over there is twice as strong, so will this work correctly?: Yes it should work.... BUT you will not have any ground protection. So, if something goes wrong with your laptop power supply, it's going to fry. ADDED --- Never directly said the 3rd prong was to protect the equipment. Although it does limit the damage to the device while protecting you from electrocution.

Q: I have one Ethernet cable running to a WiFi antenna. The antenna is powered by the Ethernet cable, using PoE. I want to be able to plug the current cable into a hub or switch, so I can connect other devices (non PoE) like an Xbox 360 or PC, but I also need to maintain the PoE to the antenna. Taking the antenna off PoE is not an option. What kind of device can I use to split this PoE line into PoE and non PoE cables?: familiar ethernet cable is nice for 100m (approximately 328 ft), Any device which includes a hub, router etc. oftentimes acts as a repeater, 'cleansing' and boosting the sign to make greater desirable the variety. The distances you point out will have not any impact on ethernet. besides the shown fact that any undesirable connection or cable alongside the way can doubtlessly injury the sign. I have not any issues extending broadband ethernet hyperlinks over a number of thousands of metres with strategically placed small switches alongside the way for serious enterprise use.

Q: Soooooo I don't know much about electronics, but... I'm pretty that my AC power cable for my new receiver was made wrong. You know how it supposed to have a positive and a negative pins? well they are both the same. I know that the wall outlet has the little whole and the bigger one. I've seen some AC power cables that only have the little flat pins so they fit on the wall outlet. My cable has two of the big flat pins... so I can't plug it in the outlet. What do I do? is there like a plug I could buy? I've been using google but I can't find anything...: If the equipment is under warranty, I might consider taking it back and complaining. The P4 cable is the most common. You should find it on 90% of power supplies you buy on the market, regardless of how many watts they have. Some power supplies have both the 4pin and 8 pin cables for redundancy. ~~~ All modern power supplies nowadays have 4 pin CPU power cables. They come as a standard. The 24 pin ATX power supply is also quite common, it's kind of hard to get one that's 20 pin nowadays.
