Q: I live in Denver, Colorado. What is the average $ amount per yard of carpet for apartment grade carpet?What are some prices? I know they don't all go through the same company, but at about what average price is it sold at per yard for apartments?: I don't live in the states but if you are looking at carpet... I would look at the density of the carpet and the material used to make it. in the synthetic material you tend to have the Olefin being the bottom end, polyester being the middle and Nylon being the top. If you want to save money but let it last longer upgrade the underpad and use a less expensive carpet. The extra thickness in the underpad will extend the life of the carpet

Q: I have the area rugs on the top of carpet. and sofa was on it. now the sofa is moved and rug is wrinkled badly. how to unwrikle it? I placed heavy books on the wrinkles, still they are not smooth and I trip over them. thanks in advance.: If you spray the carpet LIGHTLY with a mist of water and then place a plastic garbage bag over the wet and wrinkled area and weigh it down over night, that should press out any wrinkles in the rug. Just be absolutely sure to remove the plastic bag over the carpet in the morning as you do not want to cause any sort of moisture problem as you need to leave the rug there, flat, to dry. If that does not work, you may need to use steam. Put your iron on the lowest temperature setting that will still allow steam. Fill the water reservoir and allow the water to heat up. Then, place the iron an inch or two over the rug and press the burst of steam button on the iron to release the wrinkles in the rug but do NOT iron the rug or allow the iron to touch the rug. Allow the rug to completely dry. Either one of these two methods can be used as I have tried both, successfully. I do not know which will work for your carpet because I am unaware of the fabric content of your rug.

Q: I'm getting new carpet put down in my room soon, but I'm very clumsy and I can't keep it clean. Is there some kind of carpet protector (much like a screen protector for a phone) that I can put over my new carpet?: This is easy, no food in your room. Nothing other than water to drink.
