- forwool or wool blending blanket, detergent should be used ; other blankets should use washing powder (high foam, and dirt remover). wet the carpet and lat flatpaving, brush with soft brush dipped in detergent solution (water dissolved detergent) brush blanket from the edge, cannot leak, otherwise the effect will be affected. rinse and brush (ture on the water from the hose and brush with a soft brush ), insure the detergent on every spot. wash and push the carpet with a piece of flat wood. Rinse blanket, spray a few drops of water added vinegar on the carpet to remove residual washing liquid, antibacterial disinfection. squeeze water as much as possible with plank, hang it to dry it, drying as soon as possible, when the carpet is completely dry, lay flat and brush with a soft brush toward one direction to make it more organized and neat.

- There are a few types out there ,but the one I m familar with is calles Rug Hold.. It s a thin rubberymat you put under your rugs to hold them down and wont react w/ your vinyl like the backing is know to your vinyl.. - I wouldn't recommend the washing machine; repti-carpet is basically just felt material and can easily become destroyed in a washing machine. Personally, I take some hot water in a large mixing bowl and some Dawn dish soap and wash the carpet by hand. I usually let it soak for a while to help loosen any debris before scrubbing. Then I rinse it well and let it air dry. Easy and works like a charm.

- Hi I'd roll it up good and tight, tie it a few places so it stays really tightly rolled and then cover the ENTIRE thing in plastic --maybe 2 really large plastic bags from a mattress store or a moving store--even a rug store. OR a few tarps--tie it up again too. Once it's super duper tied up and plasticated (my word) --then you can leave it outside.
