Q:If you look at a power line it is hanging down in the middle why is that
Gravity okorder /
Q:i cant seem to find a place to put my power cable to the inner part of the car.i dont seem to find a decent place to drill a hole to or the firewall i think its what itscalled, im using a buick regal 1992.... i was thinking of putting it through the door, is that safe?is it done sometimes or not recommended at all?
I've gone through the door with 6 gauge wire, I wouldn't recommend this at all, but especially with anything larger than 6 gauge. It didn't really let any water in at all, but I must have gotten lucky, I've heard a bunch of horror stories with that. I'd say just look harder or if absolutely necessary, go through the floor, but make sure to seal it up good. Note: I was running a 450 watt amp at the time I had the 6 gauge wire, now I've got a 1000 watt mono amp with 0 gauge wire running through the firewall :-)
Q:On my original PS3 power cable it says 10A 125V, do I have to make sure the cable I use from a computer matches the same? Also can you explain how it works if the cables don't matter
Yes, so long as it isn't thin wire like as thin as the A/V Cable almost. But yes, any Monitor/PC Cord will work.
Q:I have nine month old twins and they are starting to crawl and touch everything and I dont want them to get hurt. How can I hide all these loose cables. (modem, phone lines, power surges, chargers, camera cables, etc)
You need a rubber cable duct, or cable trestle. The are sold by office supply places everywhere. They're usually made of rubber and the profile (end view) is that of a triangle or truncated pyramid. They usually come in lengths up to twelve feet. They're made to lie as flat as can be on the floor, but the higher profile models (when you need many cables hidden) don't quite allow casters to roll over them, and may present a tripping hazard. If you can run cables along a wall, try a cable raceway. Some models look like larger base molding, and are fairly unobtrusive.
Q:I just bought a new motherboard and it had a 24 pin power thingy, my power supply was only a 20 pin. After looking at my manual it said I was able to do that if I aligned them a specific way. After that PC turns on, the lights turn on, hard drives turn on, and everything else. the thing is the screen stays black and says no signal.I was looking on the motherboard and there is a 4 pin ATX12V1, but there is no such cable that comes out of my power supply. I think the reason the screen stays blank is because it said that was used to power the CPU. What can I do since I do not have a ATX12V1 cable that connects to my motherboard? The only cables that come out of my pwr supply are for the IDE and floppy.
You need a new power supply. Make sure it's 24 pin and has enough wattage and amperage on the +12v rail to power your system.
Q:Will this cable work with an iPhone 4s? On the website they only mention iPods, but I want to see if anyone has any experiences with this. It's a make-or-break deal for me. thanks
no offence but its a rip. go to walmart and buy an AUX cable they are 8 bucks and they will fit ipods phones and all that good stuff.
Q:So, I built my first computer 6 months ago, only to have the power supply fail, and maybe fry the CPU or the motherboard (hope not), and I ordered the XFX 550W from newegg. Now I built the computer, but this is actually going to be the first time I'm taking out the cables of the power supply to the motherboard, and it looks like it's quite tightly in there, do I just take it out by force? I don't want to exert too much pressure because I'm a pussy and I don't want to ruin it haha.
Hi, There is often a plastic clip holding the connection in place, check for that first then pull gently as they are not normally that tight. Arnak
Q:I am trying to hook up a LCD display (CPU Temp, USB's in use, Memory Temp/usage, etc) and It came with a 5pin DIN connector for what I assume is the power. I am not sure what I need to do to connect it to the PSU. Any help or ideas?
I think this device should have a power connector as well as a sensor cable (USB in use should have a connector running on to your motherboard.) can you provide me the make/mode number of the equipment. Also provide me with a link so that i could see the connectors and wires and the device. Else take a pic, upload it some image hosting site and provide with a link. (you can edit your question or add additional info and provide a link. Replace the
Q:hai am working with QATAR PETROLEUM i have one job i have to supply barrier i have the barrier power supply for barrier 120/230v which braker and which cablecore with formula i have to submit for approval regardsravi
contained in the former days we used to partition off because of the speeds of not worry-free drives and how records replaced into saved. Now a days, distinct walls do not some thing for speed, the really authentic positives could be a million, once you've a Boot Partition, sufficiently enormous to take care of the OS, and under no circumstances set up any courses on it, then one partition on your courses, and a very last partition on your records. in case you ever favor to reinstall or format the OS, you received’t lose your records. in my opinion even with the indisputable fact that, I don’t partition some thing, I run 500GB for my important force, then use an exterior 1TB for backups. So, to respond to your question a touch extra obviously, searching on the way you've it partitioned, it can slow your computing device down, or do not some thing solid or undesirable. it received't income you in speed except from what i discussed above conserving the OS on a separate partition so it does not get affected by capacity of courses being put in and uninstalled. no count the way you examine out it, 7 drives is way too a lot.
Q:I just bought it!
It's obviously faulty. You really should only hear the power brick fan if you put your ear up to it.
