What are the materials?
Our rattan furniture is woven by hand with environment-friendly PE rattan on strong powder-coated metal or aluminum structure with soft cushions and pillows. The cushions are usually replaceable and washable.
1)PE Rattan/PVC Rattan/Poly Rattan/Synthetic Rattan: durable and UV and weather resistant
-- Round Rattan is usually more durable than flat rattan and more expensive.
-- Plenty of rattan colors are available for selection and the well-received colors are listed as follows: Changing Brown, Charcoal, Dark Brown, Cream, Beige, Grey, White, etc.

- Q:I need to buy a leather sofa or sectional but I am having a problem figuring out what color will go with my room. In addition to the walls I have new carpeting that has light browns and golds in it. Dark brown seemed like a good choice but my issue is the recliners.
- navy blue would go good against pale yellow and burgundy. Not sure about the carpet though. However, you could always purchase an area rug to throw on top of the carpet to tie the room together. You can get area rugs pretty cheap at Home Depot or Lowe's and they have great colors. You might be able to find a carpet that has navy, burgunday and pale yellow/cream in it. That would be pretty. A tan/beige or cream color would look nice but that would compete with the yellow walls. I would do navy. That is the first color I pictured in my head when I read your question. Good luck!

- I have a really nice Clayton Marcus sofa which has served me well for years. I couldn't be happier with the construction quality and style. I'd look for something that had eight-way hand tied spring base construction. Also, make sure the frame is hardwood. My sofa cushions are down wrapped which really adds to comfort and durability. Here are other good brands to consider Ethan Allen, Drexel-Heritage, Century and Henredon. I'd stay away from Broyhill, Bassett, or Lane.

- You can try standing it on end, with the back towards the door opening. Push the back in, then rotate it around the door jamb. This only works if the length of the couch is less then the height of the door opening. Good luck.

- I had a leather sofa only it was black. When it was hot, it felt very uncomfortable sitting on it, especially in shorts because like everyone else has said, you feel like you're becoming one with the sofa from the sweat. Also, a cream color will get dirty because it's such a light color. I agree that a cloth type material is the way to go. Since you live in the tropics, maybe you may want to consider wicker with some nice cushions.
