What are the materials?
Our rattan furniture is woven by hand with environment-friendly PE rattan on strong powder-coated metal or aluminum structure with soft cushions and pillows. The cushions are usually replaceable and washable.

- I do not know if this is the official difference, but at my parents, a sofa is a 3 seater while a couch is a 2 seater. Perhaps its just my parents using it this way...

- When you can't be there to supervise, use a crate. But only for 2 hours at a time, maximum. It's up to you to correct the behaviours you don't want - but good luck if you have two puppies at the same time, unless you are experienced! It's not a good idea to have two as they will tend to listen, follow, each other, rather than you. Prevention/avoidance is always the way forward and if they are getting at your sofa, remove dogs from sofa, or sofa from dogs. Problem solved.

- Nothing is ''pet proof''. Leather sofas are still victims to scratches from pet nails. Put a blanket over the couch where your dog lays, to help protect it.

If you are someone who gets bored easily and wants to change every five years or so, then you can go with whatever to change with the trends. Are you looking for leather? - I can't believe you Joeyjo, recommending declawing that cat ! That is the stupidest reply I've seen man , after all that's been proved lately about the cruelty of it ! Front paws only you blithely say, as if that makes it OK! And letting your own poor crippled defenceless cats go outside,I think you are hardly qualified to give advice to someone else. They may even live in a country where declawing is banned anyway ! It is animal abuse and will soon be banned worldwide ! What a shame someone always has to come along like this, when the asker has already had sensible and humane suggestions like the first 2,which I really agree with, patience with cats always pays off man.

- Buy enough fabric plus a a bit more to completely cover the sofa, sew a hem all the way around the fabric after cutting off enough to sew a long strip that is going around the bottom of the sofa. This strip has to be wide enough to put elastic in so it depends on the size of elastic, I used the round elastic. Place fabric properly on sofa tucking in at cushions etc then put the strip with elastic half way down the bottom of the sofa all the way around. This will hold it all in place and look more like it has been recovered.
