- Q:My family has had 2 microfiber couches for close to 2 years and they are light tan color, so with pets and kids, they are starting to look pretty shabby. I have tried Resolve Multi-Fabric and used that to wash the cushions, and it worked at first, until someone spilled a drink on the couch and I tried to get it out. Now it doesn't appear to be coming out too well and there are what appears to be streaks from the cloth I used (even though it was a white one).Does anyone have any ideas on how to clean the sofa cushions so that they will look cleaner without streaks? Or do I have to get it professionally cleaned?

- The only think I know of is this spray called dumb cat . This stuff takes out the smell and suposely keeps the cat away. That part did not work for me but might work for you.
- Q:i want to put new fabric on it..... i dont want to spend hundreds on reupholstering it.... how can i do it myself without burning a hole in my pocket.....
- If you like to sew and are pretty good at it... maybe you would like to just make a slip cover? I would go to the library and check out some books on reupholstering.... depending on the style it might be hard. My mom made a slip cover to cover the body of her sofa and then sewed pillow case around the loose pillows so it didn't look like a slip cover (like one piece of fabric draped over it.)
- Q:Couple of months ago I asked about my dogs peeing on sofa. Got several answers back; all said to crate train them, train them to go outside etc. The problem is that they are trained to go outside and they won't pee in their 'crate'. However, I have one sofa that they tend to pee on even if they just came in from outside. They are nearly 18 months old, sisters, and are Chihuahuas. I'm not even sure which one does it! - I would suggest not even letting them on the couch. If they can't get on the couch they can't really pee on it.
