What are the materials?
Our rattan furniture is woven by hand with environment-friendly PE rattan on strong powder-coated metal or aluminum structure with soft cushions and pillows. The cushions are usually replaceable and washable.

- Q: I am about to run out of Sofa Mart leather cleaner and it's very expensive. Are there any cheaper things to use that are also safe for leather furniture?
- Use saddle soap from a horse tack shop or a farm store that stocks horse supplies. It is especially made for leather saddles and if it can clean a stinky saddle that has been on a horse, it will clean leather furniture. Just read the can and follow the instructions. It will cost you pennies compared to stuff that furniture stores will try to sell you.
- Q: Ok so ii have 3 chihuahua puppies (1yr. 1 1/2. And a 3yr old) and I'm getting new leather sofas but I'm worried about them scratching it up. Based on experience which would be best to stop this? dremeling their nails or soft paws or something else. Thanks!
- I have a 15 years old yellow retriever and he still eats leathers. He ate my leather boots, tones of belts, my new purse, my husband hat and wallet. I always wanted a sofa leather, but I am really afraid that when I get home I will find wholes every where, so I heard that there is a spray that you spray on leathers, shoes and whatever dogs like to eat and the smell makes then not wanting to eat it. It is non-toxic and safe to animals; just have an unpleasant smell that dogs can't stand. You can find it at a pet store. The product is order less to us, but it has a bad smell to them. If you don't want to find a surprise in home you could try it. I have no idea of the name, but I am pretty sure that the person who works at the pet store knows it.

- If the sofa is past the warranty period you will have to file a lawsuit to claim any money back. You should check with an attorney about the qualifications needed for an expert to examine the fabric to determine what exactly it is. I would suspect an upholsterer could do this but it's better to find out in advance. If it's not what you thought you were purchasing the attorney will help you determine if a lawsuit is the best answer.

- Yes, you could have an ant colony in the sofa. The little buggers can set up shop pretty much anywhere. Some species of ants actually build their colonies in wood. In nature they prefer trees. Sometimes dead, sometimes not. But if your sofa has a wooden frame, they could decide that's good enough. If that really is where the ants are living, the best way to get rid of them is to get rid of the sofa.

- Futon's are not comfortable... I know from experience especially if you plan on using it everyday after a short while... ouch on your back. Hide-a-bed... hmmmm. Ugly looking I think. I like sofa beds. Multi purpose. Your sheets and duvet hide-a-way and when you have guests they just can't see all your bedding business. Definately sofa bed!

- Q: I've tried everywhere and no one seems to sell them. I have a leather sofa and loveseat that have been used and abused .Rather than buy new, I'd like to just put some slipcovers on. But the type they are doesn't seem to be available in slipcovers. I've googled, no luck. Most sites that sell them say they don't make them for these type of sofas. Any suggestions? I'm getting desperate and am thinking staplegun and fabric is my only option!
