- Q: You've probably seen the Troll Logic picture. Where it's like, Jump from a burning building on a chair, and before you land, jump from the chair. I thought that like, you couldn't jump from the chair. Isn't it like, gravitational force or something? I don't know. But it got me thinking. Anyone know? And can you explain it please?
- 1) in free fall, both you and the chair are falling side by side, you are not sitting on it you can 'push off' against it and depending on the relative masses (you have no weight when falling) the chair would would go down a little faster and you would fall slower for a short distance this is the old q about jumping just as an elevator hits bottom say you can jump with a speed of 5 ft /sec at first, just as the elevator hits bottom but you are falling at 100 ft a second and getting faster all the time . so you hit at 95 ft /sec and are just as dead space ships use their 'retro rockets to slow down when landing on the moon when we fall we fall faster and faster that is acceleration not speed common misunderstanding about falling the Mythbusters did the experiment (sort of), see if you can get their show
- Q: I am looking into buying this chair because I think it is beautiful! I plan on reupholstering it in some colorful fabric. She says there are no markings except for a sticker that claims it was reupolstered in 1987 or 1977 hard to read. There are 2 wheels on the front 2 legs. Other than that I do not know much about it. Any opinions or knowledge would be much appreciated, Thanks! The pictures are attached bellow.

- Q: In the process of sending question's in,..... the gas level's in my office chair have dropped over the last few week's or so, and as a result will neither lift or lower..... Does anyone know how to refill the gas.....Thank's.....( replying to question's on a low chair is somewhat uncomfortable.)
- :) You can go to an office supply shop and they'll sell chair gas cylinders. I've not had to ever do this but if you take them your chair and buy the gas from them they'll be able to refill it for you. They can also just give you the instructions on how to do it and you can give it a go if you don't feel like lugging your chair in there.
- Q: We have 4 kitchen, cantilever chairs that are getting weak (drooping when people sit in them) we want to figure out a way that we can keep them longer as they are no longer available, from the company, to be replaced.Personally, I would just like some new chairs but my husband really wants to save these. Is there really a way to do it without compromising the style of the chair?
- Tell hubby that you are afraid someone is going to either sit on a chair and fall out or it will break when they sit in it and they will sue you for not changing the chairs when you noticed that they were beyond their useful life. If you don't mind being sued then perhaps you might at least be concerned about not harming visitors. With respect to repairing them it is a little difficult to tell at a distance as I don't know what you like about them. I could tell you to cut off the bases and put legs on them but this does not immediately sound like it would be acceptable.
- Q: At my school they have the most comfortable chairs ever. I've looked everywhere online and can't seem to find them anywhere though. They're these really big, low, modern, red chairs. They are about five feet wide or more and the armrests are about 10-11 inches wide and you sit about a foot and a half off the floor.
- Turn chair upside down at look at manufaturer's label. Then look it up online. Just put chair back in position when you are done.

- HI Lauren, Lot of possibilities : 1) Too much wine the night before (Ha-ha). 2) Someone moved the chair... (pls read it carefully.. i say someone moved the chair. could be either of you.. before falling asleep on the couch. Recount and try to replay the events of the night before. 3) Which direction of the TV was the chair facing at ? If smack in direct line of vision of the TV, then the angle-view must have prodded either of you to move the chair. 4) If you are thinking of ghosts... Ha-ha, then you are lucky. You are living in a peaceful communion with a prankster but innocent ghost. Speak these words loudly near the chair...hi there, thanks for moving the chair last night...can you do the dishes as well? 5) Look around the chair.. do you find a book, or remote control, or a pen, or mobile phone? Chances are that you must have inadvertently moved the chair to pick the thing up...and you forgot. By the way, last night I slept and I grew up one year older today ! Now, thats what is getting me worried right now......(Ha). Have a good one. Cheers !

- Recliner: . Personally, the best reading chairs had arms that I could toss a leg or two over (in order to sit sideways) and overstuffed was the way to go because it made the chair more comfy to spend time in.
