Q:we are expecting twin babies in the next few months..and I am looking around for high chairs or one that will have the same function. first can someone tell me what the difference is between a Booster Seat and a Space Saver High Chairmore specifically these two items
I also have twins babies they are almost 5 months and i love my space saver highchairs!! They fit right in the chairs my chairs still fit the table without having to move the high chairs. The work really good for little babies and older babies because it reclines.
Q:Okay,So if any of you have seen the 'True Life' episode(I Have Embarrassing Parents), I want my room to be like Niki's room..If you haven't, her room has a light blue color on the top part, white chair railing in the middle, and a brownish color on the bottom..My question is..Do you think that would look good?Do you have any pictures that match my description?I can't find any..Also, around how much does chair railing cost?Is it hard or easy to install, if I don't have it?Thanks.!
I okorder ... It seems that the full wainscoting would be harder to do that just the strip of wood. But it is a project and it would involve altering your space, so ask your parents about it. I think it would look nice but I would prefer this kind of thing for a dining room or bathroom since it cuts the wall space in half. I would think it would be kind of jarring in a bedroom.
Q:She is almost 30 months old and she has only went potty on her chair like 4 times. She wants to wear panties but i tell her she cant unless she goes potty on her chair. I really dont like to bribe her but i tell her if she goes potty i will give her a sticker or something little like that. I dont know what else to do.
Every time she goes to the bathroom on her potty chair, allow her to pick out a sticker and place it on the chart. I only had to use these for a week, before potty training was complete, and the charts were no longer needed. Before official training day, go to the store and let her pick out big girls underwear. Set a day, and say, no more diapers! Make sure you dress her in easy cloths at first. Make sure you pay attention to potty cues (like the potty dance - LOL) Good Luck!
Q:we have these leather chairs in my kitchen and my cat always jumps on the back of this one to get on top of our water cooler cause she likes it up there or whateveranyone know what i could do to like make her stop, cause i have a pillow case over it right now, but that defeats the purpose of having a nice leather chair
There are all sorts of aids available to help train a cat to NOT be someplace. Please look at the links below... one is a double-side sticky tape that you can tape to the chair. Cats hate the stickiness, and will avoid it. When the cat learns to stay off of it, you can remove the tape (it's clear, so it won't look too ugly while you are using it). Another device is a mat of small plastic spikes (they're not SHARP!!! so they won't harm her). There are scat sprays available, which I don't think are very effective. Do you have a cat tree of any sort? Cats WANT to be HIGH, and the back of the chair is a HIGH place. If you can place a cat tree in the area that is even HIGHER, she will naturally go to that instead. If she is SCRATCHING your leather chair, then you need to provide substitute scratching posts and things. If you place one or two scratching posts or other scratching surfaces, she will gravitate to scratching THOSE instead. I know it works! Me… kittyslave23… I know my place.
Q:I have recently bought 2 office chairs to be comfortable while working at the computer, for hours as my work requires...I amstill at a loss, as to comfort, but after $500, I think maybe someone would know an answer to help me on this matter.thanks.
Are you saying you're not comfortable in your office chair? Well, I would just keep searching until you find one. Maybe you should sell those chairs and use the money to get a better, comfier chair. Sorry, this question was kind of confusing.
Q:Im looking for a good OFFICE chair for someone with chronic back pain. what I need is an affordable, sturdy chair (heavy person). After about four hours at work, even getting up, the chairs ive had to this point just dont fit right and i think they may be contributing to my back problems. Im 6'4 and most of the chairs ive used are also seemingly too short for me. Some chairs are very insistent on their lumbar support which really hurts me badly. it should be wide (for, so am i) and preferably high-backed, in the sub-1000 category, and rated for fat people. Anyone know the perfect chair here?
you want the back somewhere between 110 and 120 degrees. A full back chair (Manager Chair/Executive Chair) will help. The biggest thing you could do is fit the chair to you, dont try and fit yourself to the chair. That is how you end up with pain in your neck, back, shoulders, hips, etc.
Q:I'm not native speaker.I saw a movie and there's a line that i couldn't understand.A : I'm gonna be as big as Sinatra.(I think A means he will be a famous star as Frank Sinatra.)B: Only if you stand on a chair.(This is what I couldn't understand. Is there any idiom that i don't know? Why B said like that?)A: Hey, why you gotta say that kind of stuff?(A said weird stuff earlier)Please help me and explain in easy way. Thank you in advance.
They were doing a play on the word big. You are right on the first, it meant as famous, popular, rich, powerful as Sinatra. When they say stand on a chair, it means they don't think he will be that big and they were using the normal meaning of the word big to make a joke about how they will never be that big. He would have to stand on a chair to be the same bigness (in this case height) as Sinatra. Meaning he will never be that big. The last bit is asking why they have to say mean things.
Q:Anybody have any good websites where I can find history of the Metal Tulip Lawn Chairs - or metal lawn chairs in general - manufacture info, design, quality, what to look for in originals, replicas, etc. Any clue who designed the first one?
This furniture is a symbol of the simpler times that followed the first world war. Previously, American designers had copied European steamer chairs, or French bistro chairs. The first companies to manufacture metal gliders and swings were The J.R. Bedding Company, in Philadelphia and Howell Manufacturing, whose designs were a rage at the 1939 World Fair! One of the first designers to create a chair that was marketed to the masses was Viktor Schreckengost, an eclectic inventor also responsible for the design of metal children's pushcars and bicycles for the recently defunct Murray Ohio Manufacturing Company (A distant relative informed me recently that their family name, popular in western PA, means scary ghost!) His Beverly Hills model, sold through Sears Roebuck during WWII, can still be found across the country. Schreckengost designed the chair by offering a free drink to all 428 workers at the Murray plant in return for their participation in its creation. Each plant worker sat on the lid of a barrel layered with 8 inches of clay covered with plastic. The prototype was created, the first metal die-cut made, and when the war ended sales flourished. The joyous optimism of the nation was reflected in the c-0-0-0-l new color choices: red, lime, lavender, canary yellow and blue. It's lines were sleek and modern, much like the polished chrome and tubular steel evident in everything from baby buggies to mixmasters. Victor Just died this January
Q:I have put my printer on a chair. This is the furniture of the landlord.I'm worried. The chair has tolerated weight of the printer for 6 months now. I can't but any stand or desk right now.Is the chair ok a a printer stand? It's an HP officejet.
Chairs do have weight limits, most of them are built to withstand at least 300 lbs. Your printer can't possibly weigh that much!
Q:Where can I find a chair like this?(link below) What kind is it, like what is it called?
Big okorder I think? Hope this is not a scam because the address and phone number is quite simple..
