- if the power cable is the same as the one on your computer, yes. If not, you may need to order one. However, you will need to take it apart to install it. Could be the power supply if the cord is not a removable cord.

- Q: On an ATI Radeon HD 4870 1 GB, It has 2 slots of PCIe Power. In the box, it already has the 2 ''Y'' cables/PCIe Adapter ( I haven't bought it, just watched someone unboxing it). I might not have a PCIe Power Connector on my 550W as I haven't bought it yet either. So when you insert the 2 ''Y'' cables/PCIe Adapter,it branches out 4 Molex slots, do you insert all 4 or 3 or 2 or just 1? If the answer is 2, do you insert one Molex connector on each adapter or both on the ''Y'' Cable/PCIe Adapter?Lastly, Can a ATI Radeon HD4870 fit into a micro-atx casing?Sorry for my bad EnglishThank You =D
- The card needs 2x PCIe power cables so you need to plug in both of them. Each power cable needs 2x molex, so you need to plug all 4 in. Your power supply may also have a PCIe connector anyway so you might as well use that for one of them if you have it (it can't be used for anything else anyway) and then just use 2x molex to power the other one.

- Just get a power converter and plug it in to that. Much easier.

- Not okorder /... If you have the C-1U version, all you need to do it connect it directly to the USB port on your computer.

- You could use trunking for the cables, and for the control boxes if they are in the house you could hide them under a box which you could decorate to look like a parcel...personally I would paint it, but drill some holes for ventilation.
- Q: Most systems are about 1 thousand watts, the red power cable is really thick but then the speaker wire is really thin about 12 gauge, shouldn't the speaker wire be as thick as the power cable?
- it has to do with voltage, the higher the voltage the greater the push behind the electricity flowing through the wire. a low voltage, like a car 12 volt battery doesnt have as much push so in order to get the amount of power you need for an amplifier a lot more electrons need to flow which is why you need a bigger wire. a high voltage will push more electrons so you dont need a bigger wire. think of it like a water pipe. A small pipe with a large pump will move a lot of water. In order to get the same amount of water flowing with a small pump, you need a large pipe to allow more water to flow. speakers work using a range of voltages to produce sound. voltages that are higher than 12 volts. Also amplifiers are never 100% efficient. meaning they do not use all the electricity they receive to power speakers. a certain percentage of power will be lost in the form of heat. so it takes a bit more power in than it puts out

- Handycam Camcorders do not draw power from USB. You need to purchase a replacement power supply cable. If you take the camcorder to a place like Best Buy or Radio Shack, you can likely get a new cable for very little money (although it won't be the official Sony cable).
