Q:When my carpets are cleaned at first, they are perfectly clean and I have a friend who owns a carpet company who doesn't just steam clean the carpets. After a few months, the same stains seem to re-emerge from where they were before as if they were cleaned on the surface but re-surfaced.I have 2 cats where I have cleaned hairballs, and a lot of throwing up, and I think that's what the stains are from. I use the MIracle stuff for cat stains/odors and it seems to work at first, but again they come up especially in the hallway upstairs. The rest of my my carpets are not bad, even after a year. I take good care of them and keep them as clean as possible but these round stains in various places make it look really bad! How can I make them go away permanently. I'm tired of hiring expensive carpet cleaners where they look great for a month or so; then these same spots seem to come back plus additional hairballs which I try to catch as soon as I can.Thanks.: what method do you actually use to clean your carpets? since the same spots are resurfacing and thats the area where your cats are then i bet you need to have the actually padding replaced there and probably the carpet as well. you dont want to ever let a pet get too comfortable in one area. they are attracted to their own smell. have that padding/carpet replaced and cleaned. and every so often rotate their area so they arent used to just one area. i know it may not be the best budget wise but with pets having carpet is the worst. tile is much better.

Q:I have a 5x7' area rug on my carpeted floor that moves an inch every time I walk across it. I want it to stay still, but I must be cautious cuz the whole point of the rug is to protect the carpet which I can't afford to replace. I've tried putting heaven stuff on top of the rug (ie. hamper, edge of dresser), but if I do, it still moves and bunches up on one side.: attempt utilising a hair dryer on the tape to loosed the glue, then peel up the tape as you flow with the hair dryer, you may attempt utilising white vinegar mixed with warm water and a nicely wrung out fabric to do away with any residue from the glue and between the plastic putty knifes to gently scrape...if this dosne't paintings attempt spraying WD 40 on the cheesy factors, this would desire to be risk-free because of the fact the biggest element in WD40 is fish oil! study guidelines on the can till now utilising on the floor just to be risk-free...good success

Thanks: There may be a reason for the carpet in the first place...Try pulling up a corner and then pulling back to check the floor surface The surface may not be pretty to look at ..Are you considering redoing the floor surface...What ever you decide, if you pull the carpet you'll have to pull the tack strips. Again when pulling the carpet use a carpet or utility knive and cut it up in handlable segments. Good Luck
