Even the good stuff will drop you on whatever is in the base of the seat. The cheap stuff will clump in less than a year, so the chair feels lopsided no matter how you sit. Plan on throwing this chair out in about a year. If you know how to reupholster chairs and can find some cotton batting then you can have a good chair like the ones that used to be Made In America. Otherwise you might as well sit on a bucket: it's just as good and a lot cheaper.

Q: I am wanting to be a kindergarten teacher or elementary teacher soon and I have rocking chair at home. Sometimes I feel that the chair is not too comfortable without a cushion. I want to ask kindergarten teachers who have added on a seat cushion to their chair for some advice. What chair do you have an added a cushion on? How long does the cushion usually last? Would you recommend getting a cushion that is filled with polyester and/or cotton or one that has foam in it? Is it important to pick a certain color/pattern for the cushion?
