- Q: I got my car alligned and suddelt every time I turn it makes an awful groaning noise. I believe it's the bearings but I JUST had them done a year ago and hardly drive... Could the allignment have caused this? A year seems like such a short time for bearings to last.

The bearings won't have been worn sufficient to be observed while the hot tires have been positioned on. possibly your new tires run quieter so which you pay attention extra noises that have been hushed via the noisy affordable tires you had until now?
- Q: recently went to tire discounters to get some new tires, and they told me both wheel bearings were bad and my tie rod end was bad? me being a diy'r on most car things i said ill fix em, but they refused an alignment til my problems were fixed, though the wheel bearings aren't making any noise yet, i figured i would change them once i had the extra money to pick up a press and the bearings and shims i may need to press it in, if i replace just the tie rod end will they be able to align my car?
- Sure you can, but as soon as you back it off the rack, the alignment will change. Repack your wheel bearings before they burn up. It is easy and does not require a press (I generally do not use a press to do wheel bearings). Also change the seals while you are repacking the bearings.

I declined replacement but after he left I went on the roof to check it myself but did not notice any looseness or grinding when i spun the blades. How would tech know? would this cause it to blow warm it is a heat pump rooftop unit.
- The service call is generally a 'no cool' call when it comes into the shop, and there are ten things to check to diagnose the no cool problem, more on a h/p, so determining that the blower motor is THE cause isn't very common at all. Better call someone else. The motor test is seeing if the shaft spins freely, does not have a lot of up and down movement and then measuring the volts and amps, with a multimeter, while running. The amperage draw if higher than the run load amp will tell you the condition of the bearings and/or windings. You test the capacitor, too. And the wiring connections. Also, look at the blower wheel. Besides, a problem with the motor that slows down the rpm's and lowers air flow will deliver less return air across the evaporator, which will decrease it's temp from 40 degrees to possibly near freezing, and deliver colder air, not warmer. So the problem is something else. The most common is dirty coils, filters. Then leaks. But, they will have to check the pressures and temps, and see what those tell you and then go from there.

- shall we see... For a sturdy deck i could look at Plan B, ZooYork, or 0 they're all 3 tremendously sturdy manufacturers. For autos u have the two Silver or self sufficient, i think of Silver is extra effective yet that's my opinion. For bearings i could bypass with the two Bones or FKD observed blade. For wheels Bones could be a sturdy purchase as for grip tape u can the two look at mob or look at Torey Pudwill's new kind noted as Grizzly Grip in spite of the incontrovertible fact that it merely got here out recently so that's hard to locate in shops!
- Q: I know it would mean changing a standard skating industry has been using for the past 30 years, but it would advantage longboarding enormously. Longboarding oftenly means bad pavements, rough surfaces, sometimes offroad which kills any good bearings in a matter of days. Now the bigger the bearing, the bigger its balls which means bigger tollerance, therefore longer life.Not to mention faster speeds.It would require a new line of trucks and wheels but I think it would be worth it.
- It isn't needed. Bearings last months, years even, as long as you take care of them. I have a set of bearings that I've used for over 8 years, they still work great. If you're killing bearings in a couple of days, you're doing it wrong. And bearings don't affect speed, so long as they're clean/lubed. Bigger bearings would mean bigger wheel hubs, which means either less urethane on the wheel (less sliding per dollar), or bigger wheels (wheelbite becomes an issue, and bigger wheels don't feel very good to some people). It's pointless and unnecessary.
