Q: I'm looking to buy one, but don't see any quality reviews, so let's see what the yahoosers say.
Bissell have a very good one.
Q: I just got a dyson ball vacuum. What happens if it runs over a nail or something metal, will it screw it up? Or can it handle it just fine?
Hi okorder and click 'Support'. If you'd prefer to speak to someone in person
Q: i hate them i hate them!!!!!! they are so annoying, and i have to leave the house everytime my maid vacuums the place.
I hate the vacuum cleaner noise but love its perfect cleaning!
Q: Special vacuum to clean oil burner
use a wet vac
Q: Why are dogs afraid of vacuum cleaners?
Vacuums are loud.
Q: 1. Vacuum Cleaners2. Straws3. American Idol4. or ????
NUMBER 3! I can't believe they got rid of Gina! Melinda is my favorite, but Gina is very good and should have stayed. I think this will be my last year watching. That show is just a bunch of baloney!
Q: why are some dogs afraid of vacuum cleaners?
I always thought my dog was afraid of the vaccuum sweeper but as it turns out he thinks it's a toy. A big noisy toy! He'd bite and bark at it visciously for the first 2 years of his life and I swore daily at the breeder because I knew full well they'd chased the pups with their vaccuum. We got another pup then and for the first year and 1/2 of his life he'd watch happily while the older dog attacked the sweeper. This one was born and raised in a kennel till he was 8 weeks old. He'd be right there wagging his tail and looking at me like he wanted to be in the middle of the fun but was confused as to what the fuss was about. Then one day after all that time he decided to join in and bark and bite the sweeper too.i've never been able to so much as get close to the thing without it setting my older dog off.Now I have both doing it.I tried hard to only vaccuum when the dogs were outside and they'd sit and cry at the door the whole time it was running. Then one day as they were both attacking my sweeper as I tried to use it I'd had it.All I said was Enough and both stopped immediately and left the room. I was really amazed. After that I let them attack the sweeper for a minute after I turn it on and then say enough I shared and they go lay down. They just have to show that thing whose boss before I touch it or they are'nt happy.
Q: I've owned a number of upright bagless vacuum cleaners, and they have all sucked (well, they've actually all stopped sucking to be precise). The Dyson claims to never lose its power, but its also 5x more expensive than the average upright. Is it worth it?
We have two big dogs that shed and we own the animal dyson - the purple one. It is DEFINITELY worth the money!!!!!!!!
Q: The spots look like black ink spots. They seem to be powdery because now they are all over my carpet. Is there an effective way to clean my carpet? Can steam vacuums help? Will I have to call professional cleaners to clean them? Any kinda help is appreciated! Thanks
oops could the powdery stuff come from the band on your vac.? If so the band or belt is broken........
Q: Are black holes really cosmic vacuum cleaners?
NO. Black holes are really NOT cosmic vacuum cleaners. ...Black holes: What are they? Black holes are the evolutionary endpoints of stars at least 10 to 15 times as massive as the Sun. If a star that massive or larger undergoes a supernova explosion, it may leave behind a fairly massive burned-out stellar remnant. With no outward forces to oppose gravitational forces, the remnant will collapse in on itself. The star eventually collapses to the point of zero volume and infinite density, creating what is known as a singularity. Around the singularity is a region where the force of gravity is so strong that not even light can escape. Thus, no information can reach us from this region. It is therefore called a black hole, and its surface is called the event horizon. But contrary to popular myth, a black hole is not a cosmic vacuum cleaner. If our Sun was suddenly replaced with a black hole of the same mass, Earth's orbit around the Sun would be unchanged. Of course, Earth's temperature would change, and there would be no solar wind or solar magnetic storms affecting us. To be sucked into a black hole, one has to cross inside the Schwarzschild radius. At this radius, the escape speed is equal to the speed of light, and once light passes through, even it cannot escape. The Schwarzschild radius can be calculated using the equation for escape speed: vesc = (2GM/R)1/2 For photons, or objects with no mass, we can substitute c (the speed of light) for Vesc and find the Schwarzschild radius, R, to be R = 2GM/c2 If the Sun was replaced with a black hole that had the same mass as the Sun, the Schwarzschild radius would be 3 km (compared to the Sun's radius of nearly 700,000 km). Hence the Earth would have to get very close to get sucked into a black hole at the center of our Solar System. If we can't see them, how do we know they are there?... imagine.gsfc.nasa /docs/scienc...
