Q: In the last three months I have purchased two separate vacuum cleaners from Wal-Mart.....granted they were cheap...but they were also all I could afford. They have both stopped working...the most recent one I got worked great for about a week ( it cost 40 bucks)..and now it gets so clogged up every time I use it, that its pointless to even try...and it leaves black marks all over my carpet, I have to stop and unclog the hose after only doing half a room....plus it isnt even picking n e thing up!!! I am so fed up.....I can't afford an Orek or a Hoover....is there a cheap vacuum that wont quit on me??? Price range from 50-80 dollars????......Please help!!!
Yes... been there, done that. After much research, I discovered the blue/green Eureka Boss Smartvac Ultra vacuum--The Boss-- at walmart for under $140. I understand it's a little more than you wanted to spend; but, it is such a great vacuum I had to tell you a/b it! It is a bagged vacuum the upright variety. This bagged vacuum is fantastic to keep the dust contained and to suction like no other one we've had before. We've read all the reviews a/b the Dyson and I believe this one is as good in suction or better. After 1.5 years of use, it's still going strong and I have a family with 3 young children!!
Q: Subquestion: Do vacuum cleaners make good lovers?
It matters not to me since none of them will be getting my vote in the general election.
Q: like, taking 2 vacuum cleaners and taking off the rectangular part from each of the tubes and then putting the open ends against each other so they would be sucking each other. just curious, lol.
They'd make a baby vacuum cleaner :3
Q: My year old Bissell vacuum is starting to not work so well. It has way less suction than it used to and it makes weird sounds. Our upstairs is all hardwood linoleum so all I'm using it for my crazy 6' X 9' rug in the living room. Maybe all that cat hair is extra hard on vacuums? I don't know why I can't find one that will last. The one I had before this was a Eureka and it still had suction, but the rotating brush in the front broke out after 3 years of use. And it was used in an all carpeted house. What I love about my vacuum most is the compartment in the front that lets me easily dump out the dust instead of having to change a bag. But how to I search through the various upright vacuum cleaners to find one that isn't going to die after a year? Some of them say they are designed for many years, but how do I know what is real in those advertisements? Can any of you tell me what you use and how long it has worked for you? Thanks.
Have you checked the belt, looked for a clog somewhere? You do need to do maintenance on them now and then! You can take it to a vacuum repair shop too. If you really want a good vacuum, go to a vacuum repair shop or a vacuum cleaner dealer store. None of them at the discount stores are worth a darn! Find something with a metal fan blade, instead of plastic, and a commercial model would even be better. It will cost you more initially, but in the long run it will not need to be replaced for years!!! I cleaned houses for 14 yrs. 5 days a week 3-4 houses a day, using the same vacuum cleaner!!!
Q: i want to buy a new vacuum cleaner, and i have a puppy that use to like to pee on my bedroom rug, so i was wondering if theres a company out there that makes both in one. i havent seen it, but i thought i would ask.
no a vacuum picks up most of the dirt and a steamer cleans stuff that is ground in you can use a steam cleaner without vacuuming first but it will clog up you machine very quickly and it is expensive to have fixed so i dont recommend it
Q: Okay its the commercial where the women are using these vacuum cleaners and when they are vacuuming its sqeaking. It sounds like a bunch of dog toys. I know this is confusing! I just want to know what brand and vacuum they are advertising for!
The dyson I easily have 5 childrens I easily have had it for 3 years and it in simple terms keeps on going for outdoors jobs i could recommend a brilliant moist dry vac Have a blessed day a helpful employer
Q: Can poor people own Dyson vacuum cleaners?
Not yet, but I pray to the Scandinavian gods every night that IKEA will formulate a Dyson vacuum for the masses, perhaps called a Suctionflugen or a Vacuumuum.
Q: Professional House Cleaners only Please answer question about Commercial Vacuum cleaners?I have a house cleaning business, we clean 2 homes a day and after buying 14 vacuum cleaners in the past 2 years I am done with spending money on vacuums that don't hold up or are 2 heavy or have so many filters to clean that you spend your evenings doing that. Does anyone have any suggestions on what vacuum we should buy? Just like you the house's we clean have an array of flooring, wood, tile, oriental rugs, carpet. Please help with your experience Thanks!!
get a majestic filter queen by health-mor out of ohio, you can find one on OKorder for a good price. It is a canister vac but it really is the best vacuum out there
Q: The spots look like black ink spots. They seem to be powdery because now they are all over my carpet. Is there an effective way to clean my carpet? Can steam vacuums help? Will I have to call professional cleaners to clean them? Any kinda help is appreciated! Thanks
oops could the powdery stuff come from the band on your vac.? If so the band or belt is broken........
Q: the sound comes on, but it doesn't suck anything up and the thingy underneath (dont know the technical term) doesn't turn. it's an old vacuum( a kerby). what's wrong with it. should i try to get this one fixed or just buy a new one. are there places that fix vacuum cleaners? thanks for any info.
Kirby's are very good vaccums and if you go to a Kirby store you can trade in your broken one for a new one and it will only cost a small amount. Then when that one craps out you trade it again. It's really cool actually. Hope this helps! Nick
