- Q: should i try vacuum cleaners or fridges instead
- hahahaha
- Q: such as vacuum cleaners, and a straw (when you suck it it becomes a vacuum)what are some examples of vacuums in your home?
- Fans. (from the back)
- Q: Can you list all the companies that ever made vacuum cleaners and the names of the vacuum cleaners?
- would you like the model numbers also?
- Q: We have a Dyson that doesn't have a bag but 3 filters and we are starting to get many carpet beetles. We already had catiplillers and silversharks but these carpet beetle larva come in numbers! If I vacuum the rooms will I just be housing these bugs inside the vacuum and spreading them more to the other rooms?
- Dyson vacuum cleaners need to be emptied every time you use them to maintain their function performance. Vacuum up and empty in the out side trash straight away. Treat your home with insect deterrent.
- Q: Vacuum CleanerWeights Upright vacuumcleaners have either a hard body type or a soft bodytype. Shown are the weights in pounds of a sample ofeach type. At a=0.05, can the claim that there is adifference in the variances of the weights of the twotypes be substantiated?Hard body 21 17 17 20 16 17 15 20 23 16 17 1713 15 16 1818Soft bodied types24,13,11,13,12,15
- Hard body : Arithmetic mean : Xbar = ΣX / N = 296 / 17 = 17.4 Standard deviation : s = √ [Σ(X - Xbar)^2 / N] = √ [96.12 / 17] = 2.38 Variance : s^2 = 5.66 Degrees of freedom = 17 - 1 = 16 -------------------- Soft body : Xbar = 88 / 6 = 14.7 s = √ [113.34 / 6] = 4.35 s^2 = 18.92 Degrees of freedom = 6 - 1 = 5 -------------------- Using the F distribution : F = (larger variance) / (smaller variance) = 18.92 / 5.66 = 3.34 (with v1 = 5 and v2 = 16) This is a two-tailed test because the null hypothesis is that there is no difference between the variances. With a 5% probability limit, each tail area = 0.025. Looking up a table of the F distribution for v1 = 5 and v2 = 16, the value given for 0.025 is 3.50. The observed value of 3.34 is less than 3.50, so it lies between the 5% probability limits. Thus, the null hypothesis is accepted, so the claim that there is a difference in the variances of the weights of the two types CANNOT be substantiated, at the 0.05 level of confidence. (My apologies to statistical experts if that is incorrect)
- Q: I have an oreck vacuum cleaner..is there a place that takes old vacuum cleaners?
- If it's in good working condition, you could clean it up a bit, and donate to Goodwill or Salvation Army donation stations. If it's broken or in poor shape, you could try to call your local vacuum repair shop to see if they are interested in picking it up for parts.
- Q: I'm shopping for a new bagless vacuum. I'm not worried about allergies, but I don't want dust flying back out of my vacuum. While one that uses a micro-filtratation may be cheaper than one with a HEPA filter, will it meet my need?
- Bag less are terrible regardless of the hype. Check out a vacuum cleaner called a Sanitaire....they might have a web site A cleaner is different that a sweeper. A true cleaner actually lifts the carpet so air can move through it and clean deeper and better. Vacuum sweepers pickup far less. You will be much happier with a bag type. I have a Dyson and it is awful. Rethink the bag less idea. you will be sorry if yo buy one
- Q: I mean money. Our company pay based on how many clients we sign. The top sales persons can sign 3 person per day on average. And that is $40 Australian dollars per sign. On my first day, I signed one customer successfully, but my boss told me that he had a problem with my working attitude. Now let's do that maths, we work 10 hours per day, and if we sign 3 people, that is $120/ 10 hours, that is $12/hour. If we are not lucky, (just like my quot;bosson that day), we could only sign 2 people, then it's $80/ 10 hours, that is $8 per hour. To compare, the a waiter in China town earns $8 per hour. And if I am not lucky, I can only sign one person, that is $4 per hour.I am not very happy with the pay and the quot;bossis having problem with my working attitude --- he wants me to work harder. Well I am currently in uni, let's be realistic, can I find a job with better pay than this? Should I leave the job or not?I have to reply to my boss if I want the job or not by tonight. Thanks
- As somebody else suggested, find yourself another job, and then quit. But, if you tell your boss you want to keep the job, then be careful if he gets you to sign anything that says you agree to stick with the company for a period of time. If you get given something like that, then I would say you should turn it down. As far as I can see, you are being paid only per sale, not per hour, so instead of working 10 hours/day, I suggest working until you get your first customer, then spend the rest of the day looking for other jobs. Your boss might want you to work harder, but he's not offering you any incentive to do so, so don't.
- Q: what are the faults that occur in a vacuum cleaner how to rectify them ? esp. when its not getting start .i think it contains a dc motor (but of what type i dont know).thanks in advance
- given your level of knowledge about vacuum cleaners my best advice would be throw away the broken one and buy a new one. But let's say you decided not to take that advice. Then take the broken machine to a professional repairman. Let's say you didn't want to do that either. First let me warn you again that one of the first two solutions are your best bet. So you can't afford a new vacuum cleaner or to pay someone else to fix it. Ok. Unplug it from the wall. Check the plug and power chord carefully. Look for anything broken or bent. Replace any broken, bent or worn parts. By the way, make sure the outlet is functional. Take something you know is working and plug into the same outlet. If the working item does not work in that particular outlet then the outlet is broken. If the forgoing did not fix the machine then you really, really need to go with the first or second suggestion. If you can't then you have to open up the machine and see if you can find out anything wrong with the innards. Before doing that, check the vacuum hose, intake and filter. Make sure that none of these is clogged or broken. Replace any broken parts and clear any clogs. If you have to open up the machine then we are out of my depth. Yes I could tell you that after you make very, very, VERY, certain that the damn thing is not plugged into the wall, use a volt ohm meter to check the continuity of the wires and replace any broken ones. But if you don't know what a volt ohm meter is, you need to give this project up before hurt yourself.
