- Q: The computer is a Hp compaq. So I took the connector out of the computer but left it in the power socket. When I tried to reinsert the connector I hit the metal back panel of the computer and it made contact so I was wondering what is the part(s) that is likely to be broken?I want to know it so I can replace the damaged parts. Thanks in advance of your help.
- The power cable should have enough rubber/plasitc to stop contact with power supply directly unless you seen a spark I would try the a different cable. Is the power supply turned on? If it did spark and is turned on try swapping the power supply. Actually I missread, it touched the case itself so now you have to start swapping all parts starting with the power supply, then motherboard if that doesnt work. I hope you have some spare parks around. you could also take out the power supply and you will see a long 24-pin connector you can short the 1 green wire with a black one to see if the power supply turns on. The connector is a cable comming from the PSU not on the motherboard. And lastly each time you try to start the computer after swapping somthing only have the essentials to have it start. No CD drive extra HDD etc.
- Q: What is the cable for the YJV33 cable?
- DDF (digitalDistributionFrame) digital patch panel DDF digital patch panel digital patch panel, also known as high-frequency patch panels, digital communications in the increasingly superior, it can make the digital communications equipment, digital data stream connection as a whole , From the rate of 2Mb / s ~ 155Mb / s signal input and output can be terminated in the DDF rack, which wiring, transfer line, transfer, expansion have brought great flexibility and convenience of double deoxidation (DideoxyFingerprints, ddF) 2
- Q: Hey,I left my PS3 in the living room, and I think the dog peed up it. Stupid place to leave it, I know. Anyway, I brought it back upstairs, hooked it up but when I went to plug the power cable in, there was a real loud buzzing sound coming from the PS3, right where the cable goes in. When I unplug it from the PS3, it stops. I tried leaving it to dry, and making sure there was no moisture present inside the machine, but I tried hooking it up again and got an electric shock up my arm from it.Should I buy a new cable, leave it to dry, or is there something inherently wrong with the PS3 now? Thanks :)
- Ive never come across this before. Maybe its because i don't no anyone who has a dog which has peed up there PS3. I would suggest you dont get a other cable because that one might break aswell due to water getting in your ps3. If i was you i would contact Playstation or the store you got it from for more advice. Like i say im not sure and i dont think many people will come across this problem.
- Q: hey people i would like to know that my big fat power cable thing is not going into the socket the main power socket thing of the back of my xbox 360 elite and was wondering is there a way to fix that
- It only goes in one way, look at the shape then match it to which way it goes in. It will go in, but can be a real pain at times.
- Q: Hi All, i have a star sound 1200w 4way amp which i want to use just for my sub for the meanwhile as im waiting on a monoblock, please tell me if i can install the amp without the fuse that connects straight on the power cable?? and what is the main reasons for that fuse? thanks in advance
- Could you install it without a fuse. Yes. Should you install it without a fuse. No. If your power wire ever got shorted out it would melt and catch of fire. Their have been cars that burned to the ground because they did not have fuses.
- Q: Hey guysA 6mm power cable can hold up to 25A, but, if a product draws a maximum of 4A, in theory, can this 6mm be reduced? If so, by approx how much?Cheers, much appreciated!! :)
- yes. Resistance, and therefore voltage drop, is inversely proportional to the square of the radius or diameter. in other words, cut the diameter in half to 3 mm, the current capability would be 1/4 or 6 amps. 25/4 = 6.25, and square root of that is 2.5, and 6mm/2.5 = 2.4 mm, using only voltage drop considerations. If temperature in the wire is important, it gets more complicated, as you have to consider physical size of the wire, insulation type and thickness, etc. Of course wiring codes would override all this.
- Q: Whether high voltage cables can be built in belt corridors
- The main role is to protect, the secondary role is insulation, there is a role is to decorate.
- Q: Power cable casing buried what are the requirements
- 1 It is advisable to select the route to lay the cable in a suitable way: 1 Avoid the area where the corrosion of the acid, alkali, or stray current is seriously affected by electrochemical corrosion
- Q: I bought a microphone that requires a phantom power source and I want to connect the mic to my computer using a XLR to USB cable. Will the USB/XLR cable also power my mic or do I need to buy an additional power source?
- I agree with the other answer. It all depends on the quality of the mic you are using. If you are using a $500 mic, get a real USB interface with phantom power. If you are using a $100 mic, that adapter will probably work fine.
