- Q: Or better yet is there a 100' snake with phantom power? Can't seem to find anything online.
- Absolutely! Currently, we power all of our condenser mics with phantom power through lines that are over 300' long. The power required is miniscule, therefore the current flow to power them is also very small. The voltage drop is what will eventually cause the mic to stop working, but that will require thousands of feet of cable, especially at 48 volts, if that is the rating of your phantom power supply (can be 11 to 48 volts).
- Q: I have a Dell Optiplex 790 SFF, I need a replacement power cable, on the manual it says for power: 240W, 1259 Btu/hr, 100 Vac to 240 vac, 50hz to 60 hz 3.6A. I contacted Dell and they said they have a power cable for it, the Dell 5120P cable which is 125 V 10A. Now my concern is with the 10A vs the 3.6A listed on the manual, should I be concerned?
- no it will be fine, the maximum power needed as you state is 240W the replacement power cable is 125V 10A=1.25Kw so the power cable is grossly overated HTH David
- Q: My laptop cable sometimes won't stay in all the time. When it is connected, it has a blue circle around it, but sometimes that blue circle goes off (while it is plugged into the side of laptop) and the tool bar changes from showing a plug to showing a battery. Would there be something wrong with the cable line and it needs to be replaced?
- the power plug is damaged and will have to be replaced the cost about 90 to 125 dollars. look at it and make sure if it is the plug or the socket
- Q: i have 2 xbox 360s; one german one american, only problem is my american one(110 volts) has lost its power cable, now i thought why not just use the german (220 volt) power cable; but im afraid that might blow up the cable or whatever, any suggestions??
- right, the power outage would be too high
- Q: So I had this monitor I used to use, then didn't use it for a while, now I want to use it again but can't find the power supply cable. I can get a new one, but the thing is I have to know what to ask for, right? I don't know what cable to ask for. I did some google search on it too but still can't seem to find exactly the type of the cable that is specified. Help? Can someone do it for me so I can go to my local electronics score and look for a cable that will do the work?
- yeah man, that 3 prong cable is synonomous with pc's, i used a old imac cable for the longest time because it looks rad.
- Q: I am getting a new 160 amp high output alternator for my 2005 Mazda 3 2.3L. I am running a 1000w amp with two subs. I have the stock alternator in it right now. There are two power cable kits available for me to get. One that has 4 gauge wire with a 100 amp fuse and the other, 1 gauge with 150 amp fuse. Which kit should I get? Can I just add 4 gauge wire along with my stock wire instead of the 1 gauge kit? What are the fuses for and which one would work better? I know nothing about this. Thanks.
- I would go with the 1 ga wire. The fuse keeps the wire from setting your car on fire. The size of the alternator does not matter. The battery should supply 700 amps or so.
- Q: My power cable says it is plug in but will not charge it. What is wrong?
- It could be your cable or power supply unit went bad. Or, your power socket on the main board went south. The good thing about laptops is that the power supply unit is external and easy to swap out.
- Q: recently i purchased an imac G4, it included everything)keyboard, speakers, mouse ect.) but, it didnt come with a powercable. i knew this when i bought it, but thought it was a standard connector,i was wrong, it is a 3 pronged connector, I have a cable that will fit, but it is only 2 prongs, (it's missing the ground pin) . i only can return this item in 4 days if there is a problem with it, i could buy a powercord, but i risk it not coming in time. Can i use my 2-pronged power cord just to test it's funcionality. (fans, chime etc.) without the computer catching on fire of any other type of failure.Chris
- specific. the means cords designed for the iMac are what's mandatory to function the iMac. the present twine probably isn't feeding adequate means to function all stages of the device. that could happen. substitute the twine. optimistically, which will remedy your subject. stable success.
- Q: Now i get a message saying I have low system voltage. Is this gonna impair performance? Are there adapters for this? This is for a DESKTOP. Dell XPS.
- What? What are you saying? What processor uses a 10 pin power connector? You did 'say' CPU! (Central Processing Unit) Or do you mean the 20 pin ATX Motherboard connector? (AMD's use no power to processor connector. Intel Pentium 4 and UP, use a four pin power connector, from the power supply to the motherboard. (Mobo) Edit: Low System Voltage will start with causing weird things to happen. Then the computer motherboard power headers,(Connectors), will burn up. I suggest you turn this computer off, un-plug it, and email me.
- Q: 1 or two to use the other ones and its really annoying.. is there something that i can get that can give me more ide cables and also power cables inside the pc as well?
- a million. Date one among them for an hour, i'd truly spend an hour with them, then in simple terms a million kiss. 2. e-mail address, so i'm able to save in contact with them. 3. it really is a confusing one, yet i imagine i'd truly have Nick say i'm fantastically. 4.
