- Q: Do you know of any device or method to keep a button pressed? I'm talking about real life - physical - buttons of electronic appliances, not buttons of software applications (since these are the only results I find in Google).
- Tape or a weight. If it has to stay pressed permanently, JB weld a bolt onto it and let it dry, then put nuts on it until it's heavy enough to hold it down ( only if tape won't work ). The absolutely permanent solution is to open up the device, find where the button is, and use a bit of solder to short the button on the PCB. Electrical tape works, but so does a hammer. I've occasionally actually used a hammer carefully balanced on a key to keep that key pressed for awhile. But I highly recommend tape as the least destructive solution. - Q: i am an older female (56) and need to be able to bench press 75 pounds. I do not have a gym membership, and wonder if I can start to accomplish this with dumbells and if so how
- To do a bench press you need an exercise bench. You take a weight in each hand then lay down on it face up (so you're parallel to the floor), put your legs at right angles, and then you push upwards and outwards. 75lbs is a reasonably heavy amount to lift in a bench press. You may have to build up to that, which would take a few weeks or months of working out every other day and eating lots of protein. Personally I'd say it's easier to lift a 75lb barbel than 2 ~38lb dumbbells because one arm may be stronger than the other and it's easier to balance because you don't have to worry about sideways movement. Put yeah, to do a bench press, you defiantly need to purchase a bench.which would cost you about ?50 from argos and then then weight would be ?40 for dumbells and a barbell.
- Q: Is it good if I can do a clean leg press of 230kg? (45 degree angle thing)I weight 63,5kgI also got up to 250kg from about maybe 55 degrees or so.Also: Is it true that if you have a bad blood circulation, your muscles get exhausted more easily because the oxygen can't reach your muscles that good (or something like that) ?
- leg press can be too easy with the 45 degree thing, much better progress and larger muscles can come doing squats and its better for flexibility as well yes bad circulation will exhaust your muscles and the bigger the muscles the bigger the effect. maybe you need some hypoxic training?
- Q: Is it alright if I apply pressed powder or loose powder without using foundation/bb cream? Will it cover the pores and acne on my face?
- No, pressed powder will not give you good coverage. The reason for pressed powder is to SET your foundation and give you a finished look. If you put pressed powder right on, it'll just fall off.
- Q: I thought that hold means press !! what is the correct meaningplaystation 3
- Press means to push something and let go of it. Hold means to keep the button pressed in continually while pushing or pressing other buttons to achieve a certain combination of moves.
- Q: I was wondering where I can buy a cheap seated bench press. My friend had one called life circuit where could I find that one.
- You okorder or you could just go to places like Big 5 Sporting Goods,Sports Chalet,or you could get the Bow-flex.
- Q: how much can u bench press?
- for 14 sure 300
- Q: I am trying to become a Freelance Photographer and sell my photos to the local newspapers and other media organizations. I plan on taking pictures of crime scenes and different law enforcement / fire department events in my area.I've talked to a few people and they all told me that I would need a Press Pass. I am unsure as how to get one (I call the different newspapers and places like that and they say that they only issue them to their employees and are not for freelance photographers like myself). If I am a freelance photographer, do I really need one? If so, could I just create my own business and make my own press pass for that business?(I am in California, Los Angeles County)
- When I was a newspaper reporter, we reporters used to laugh a bit at our friends asking us to get them a press pass. That was because, we felt, if you had to have a press pass, it wasn't going to do you much good. Yes, we all had press ID. But it was a point of pride not to use it -- just waltz up to the place or person and say, I'm from xyz news. How about that...(and ask your question.) But your situation is a bit different, I see. Okay, here's what some people in your situation (actually needing a press pass) did. We had a county press association, and when I was president, II made name cards for all the members -- even some who were freelancers like you. I think your idea of making yourself a news media with a blog is a good one. Print yourself up a card with your blog name on it, and your id for contacts -- name, phone#, email addy. I bet it would work -- make it _real_ official looking!
- Q: why does it seem that the bench press is targeting my arms. I could feel my arms weared out after a set and not my chest. Could it be I'm doing it wrong?? I dont know its pretty hard to do the bench press wrong if I'm not mistakened.
- might desire to it is that via specializing in bench pressing this could for sure artwork up the middle potential as properly. good center and robust trunk = stable base for good palms which you will artwork on defining later...? additionally, with a good center, isn't there much less probability of debilitating injury that could have a lifestyles-long result? i could think of that once one is in little ones and nonetheless transforming into, the prospect of harm is larger on account that (a million) one thinks one is invulnerable, and (2) the growth spurts in little ones go away the middle muscle mass with some potential capture as much as do with the greater advantageous leverages of the muscle mass that are helping a larger physique (i.e. a muscle that has been experienced to stand up to forces over 6 might have worry over 7 because of the fact forces are compounded = a muscle is largely a levered device the place one greater inch demands no longer basically 7/6 greater potential for an identical tension, yet plenty greater (i don't have my physics books to consult suitable now)).
- Q: Help! I've been stuck benching 140lbs for a good 1 month. I try overloading but it has not worked because I would just get tired. I'm 15 years old, 5'3 and weigh 105lbs. Is it because of my weight? My height? Or is it because I have adapted to bench pressing that it has no effect on me? I have mostly been working on my Fast Twitching Muscle Fibers. Maybe this is the cause of my plateau.I'm willing to switch to endurance exercises to improve my Slow Twitching Muscle Fibers but I'm not sure if this will help me break my plateau.Any advice will be appreciated.
- Hitting a sticking point on your bench press typically has nothing to do with your chest muscles. The supporting muscles of the shoulders are weak, causing your body to stop muscle growth of your pectorals(major and minor) to avoid injury. Another common reason for a plateau is an imbalance. I assume you use a bar for your bench press. The disadvantage to this is your strong arm(typically your right arm) can lift a greater percentage of the total weight. This naturally causes one side to become stronger and the body, again, will shut down chest growth. I recommend using dumbells for your chest routine this will avoid the imbalance and additionally will hit stabilizer muscles in the shoulder. Now, let's work on those shoulders. The front head(like it says the muscle in front) of your shoulder connects to your pectorals. Strenghtening this muscle will get you over this sticking point. I recommend front shoulder raises, overhead press(with dumbells, you should know why now), and side raises. These exercises with strenghten those weak muscles and you'll get past this plateau in no time. Hope this helps, feel free to email me with any other questions. I enjoy answering questions in my field of research. Chris M.S.,C.S.C.S.
