- Q:I wanted to do something with pressed leaves. I now have a bunch of pressed leaves, but I don't have any crafts to do with them. Any advice?
- Decorate greeting cards by gluing pressed flowers on the cover. Or add pressed flowers to homemade paper by adding them before the paper pulp dries. Use decoupage techniques to attach flowers to Easter eggs, lampshades, notebooks, rocks and picture frames. Decoupage medium is similar to glue and can be found at craft stores. In addition to adhering the flowers to the surface of your project, it forms a protective layer over them and smooths out the flowers so that parts don't stick up. - Q:I use almay clear complexion foundation, and I am looking for a powder to go over that...i have fair skin so i use all the light colors. I also like the natural look, where it doesnt look like youre wearing.......makeup.. SO.....I purchased almay nearly naked LOOSE powder and liked it, but was scared it was going to make me break out since it wasnt on the clear complexion line, although it is still non clog poring. I exchanged it for Almay clear complexion press powder and im afraid it will dry out my skin? Help? has anyone ever used these items before? If so..what do you like better? I have sensitive skin..gets kinda dry at first, than oily during the day. Thanks
- I much prefer loose powder. It has a more natural look. I have sensitive skin too. So I only wear makeup about 3 out of 7 days of the week. I would say that most likely the pressed powder won't break your skin out IF you don't put too much on AND you moisturize first. I would recommend Aveeno. It has an SPF and doesn't break my skin out bc it's hypoallergenic. I have found loose powder to not clog my pores as pressed does. Try investing in both and use the pressed powder in your T-zone (nose, forehead) where your skin is oily and breaks out more. Then, apply the loose powder on the rest of your face. hope that helps!
- Q:I tighten the belt as much as I can (sorta hard to adjust) but it still jams. It's an inexpensive mastercraft 10 model. The belt looks fine to me but I don't know what to look for. It jams a lot, almost unusable with a 7/8 forstner bit. Really annoying. I would definately get a new belt if I thought that was it. I think it didn't jam as much when it was new. The other day the belt just came off while running for no apparent reason (it was plenty tight). Thanks for any help anyone can suggest. Could it be alignment?

- It depends on your hand positioning on the bar. Your more likely to have a bigger bench press if your deltoids are built.
- Q:I think I might be using too fine of grounds they keep getting into my cup. What are some good brands of coffee to use with a French press?
- 1) Buy a decent press. Bodum has a range of price points and all of them work about the same. I have 2 medium-size presses that make about 2 large mugs worth of coffee at a time. 2) Buy whole beans, ideally freshly roasted from a local roaster, and grind them immediately prior to brewing. Keep your beans stored in an airtight container out of the light (e.g. in a cupboard), and only buy what you can reasonably use within two or three weeks. 3) Use a burr grinder to make a medium-coarse grind. I use a Hario manual grinder. They take some time, but at only $25-30 on Amazon, they're the best value in terms of quality and end result versus price paid for the grinder. Regardless of how coarsely you grind your coffee, odds are there will be some small particles that the filter doesn't catch. That is, in my experience, normal. Just don't drink the last sip or two of coffee.
- Q:I'm 16 and play football. Last offseason I got 325 on bench press. At the begining of this offseason I started at 300 and quickly worked my way back to 325. For months now I haven't been able to get any higher on my bench press. Any suggestions on how I can get more?
- Amazing amount of weight for a 16 year old! This is what got me through my plateau. I would add 2 to 3 days more rest before doing bench press again than usual. If that didn't work I would drink alot more water and make sure I had had 2 or more meals before working out (not right before working out though) and get my diet more spot on for the days leading up to my next workout while also adding the 2 to 3 days more rest before the workout. That should work! BUT some other factors can cause some problems like: stress from work or school can tax your nervous system big time and if you are doing a split style of training, that could also be taxing your nervous system. So try having more rest between ALL workouts in general. This didn't help me, it fixed my problem completely.

- Congress shall make no law....abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press... UPDATE: Sorry, no. The Press is the organization, not the individual reporters. If the school newspaper is staffed by student reporters, but it is the teachers that have ultimate authority over the content, than there is no problem with Teachers limiting what the paper publishes. Just like a regular newspaper. The reporters don't get to decide what gets printed. They cover and write the story, and it is the editors who decide what runs and what doesn't, and if someone higher up in the paper tells the editor that they won't be running a certain story, it doesn't get run. Furthermore, since the student newspaper is in fact a government run operation, it's not really the press.
- Q:Does the clean makeup and pressed powder work? I want to use their sensitive formula since I have the most sensitive skin ever and it's so cheap which is amazing for me. I can't spend a lot of money on makeup. I also am fairly yellow toned, so if it's a pink toned makeup I can't use it. You're thoughts, opinions and experiences would be highly appreciated. Thank you!

- How will PRESS something help, if pressing any key on your keyboard doesn't do anything? Have you tried just restarting your computer? Also you can try disconnecting computer from external power and pulling the battery out without turning it off first (like shutting it down the wrong way.) And are you sure the cat didn't leave any liquid there? If yes, maybe it's time to visit a repair shop...
