You may have used too much weight on the presses. Sometimes the body needs a rest. Are you doing these daily? You should not work the same muscle group every day. Alternate between days doing different workouts. I like to recommend the upper body work out every other day, and the lower body workouts the opposite to give the muscles a rest. Sometime when we are a little under the weather our body is telling us not to over do take it easy a day or so. Give it a couple days of rest before working out again. Sounds like a pulled muscle.

Q: 6th grade girl basketball coach,were going to be playing alot of teams that press alot and i need a easy press breaker for these girls cause we were put into the league late and dont have alot of time to work on it from what little i seen on acouple of teams play last year they play alot of man to man full court with an occasional double team.one advantage i got is i can have 3 or 4 descent ball handlers at the same time.but if i can countinously beat their press and force them to try to slow the game down i can put my best player in,shes hefty but a muscle inside we can shut from outside with no fear cause she boxes out so well shell get the rebound and in result give us 20 pts a game but shes so hefty she cant handle the fast pace game so please help me come up with a soluton thanks
My team used a very easy press break. It's a bit hard to explain, but when it comes together, it works like a dream. - First, you have two players on either side of the court, waiting for the inbound. - Once inbounded, the Passer, steps into the center of the court. - They pass amongst themselves till they find an opening in the press. - Meanwhile, there are two other people standing at about midcourt, on both sides. - The person at midcourt standing opposite the side the ball is on will run to the middle of the floor looking for possible passes. - If the ball is passed to them, he/she can either bring the ball up more or turn, and pass to the opposite side. Q: I've been lifting for about 16 months now, im around 6'7 265.My bench press max about 6 weeks ago was around 235x1 and now im having trouble just doing 205 once. I lift 4 days a week(day 1 chest and day 4 arms). My chest is still getting stronger and size is increasing just not my weights. My leg strength is going up significantly compared to my chest. I eat pretty good 3 meals a day and take protein shakes, and drink lots of water while lifting. My chest routine is Bench press(x10,x8,6,4) and then incline (x10,x8,x6,x4), Dumbell flyes 4 sets until failure, 4 sets of dips until failure, shoulder press (x10,x8,x6,x4) Upright row(x14,x12,x10,x8), front raises(x14), laterials(x14, and then 4 sets of dips until failure. Any tips will be well taken.
Make sure you're eating enough so that your weight isn't going down. Don't bother with the dumbbell flys/upright rows/front raises/lateral raises as they will have no effect on your bench press, and as long as your bench press is going up then your mass in the chest/front shoulders/triceps will grow. Lower rep training will be more effective for gaining strength in the bench press, give 5x5 a try. Make sure you're attempting to increase the weight on your bench press every workout, and if you're stuck at the same weight then deload it and gradually build back up again to break through the plateau. Do pulling exercises as well as pushing exercises or your bench won't progress well and your shoulder health will be poor, make sure you're progressing on rows and chin-ups also.

Most hotels will provide an iron in your room but you can keep things pressed by layering the shirts with tissue paper when you pack; also there is usually an elastic-type pull-out line of sorts in the hotel bathroom where you can hang your shirt on its hanger while you are showering, and the steam from the shower will steam out the wrinkles. Certain fabric blends show wrinkles less than others--- try a couple of different rayon or nylon and cotton blends till you find something that you are comfortable in and doesn't show the wrinkles. Do not count on being able to hang your garment bag on the plane--- many planes no longer have little closets and when they do, they are reserved for first-class passengers (although with that much travel, you should have free upgrades to first class pretty quickly). A small aerosol bottle of Static Guard helps a lot too!
