- Q: i have a pretty stock f150 i have done a few performance mods and im putting about 325 RWhp (my schools shop has a dyno chasis) i have hear a lot about lowering vehicles to get the to perform better but i get different answers from everybody. i tow and haul heavy loads about once a month so one of my questions is will i still be able to haul stuff? (in the truck bed 2000 lbs max bumper pull about 5000 lbs max) what all will i need to lower it? i was thinking about an inch in the front and 2 or 3 in the back because thats about what a lightning is. what will i need to lower it?
- One of the problems with lowering or lifting a truck is the towing capacity and bed capacities are often lowered, but the manufacturer of the kit does not always provide rating changes. This can be especially difficult if you use different components from different manufacturers. If you use the truck for regular towing, I would suggest leaving the suspension alone so that you can still it use it to safely tow and haul what you need to. The Lightning's tow and bed capacities are significantly less than that of a standard F-150.

- Q: I got a set of brand new Stern Yoshi st6 chrome 20 rims to give my car more of the pimp ride but classy look.I want to if know if those rims will do damages to my car, and what kind of damage and so on.the fitments are.5x120 13mm 8.5If they won‘t damage anything, then I will get 245x30x20 tires and the correct bolt pattern spacers for them.i know this will be sacrificial to the ride quality and acceleration performance but for me, it would be a small one if it isn‘t too bad.well there you have it.will it be worth it for the looks are will it cause me a major financial regret?thx:)
- it probally just need valve seals- there pretty good about that- have an oil anlisis done on it at your big truck shop-cost you about 15 bucks- will tell you alot about what going on in there- haow much bearing material in oil
- Q: I have a 1991 Jeep YJ w/205+k miles on the now sagging suspension. I‘m not looking for the $5k suspension system from Black Diamond or Fab Tech. I can‘t find ANY YJ suspension comparisons/reviews online.
- Skyjacker makes the softest and most comfortable lifts for the YJ at the best price. The only one that is more comfortable is Old Man Emu, but their lifts are nearly double the cost of a standard lift. Rancho makes good lifts as well but for the YJ the biggest one the have is 2. Avoid massive lifts above 4 and try to make sure that all brackets, accessories, lines, and preferably shocks are included.

- Not usually. With the computer design systems the manufacturers use, the suspension is 'tuned' to the car the type of market the car is aimed at. Moving a suspension to another car could lead to a bad ride maybe even a safety problem if the suspension is not designed for the weight of the new car. Even inside the same car model line, the suspensions can vary between a model met for a sporty ride to a family hauler.

- No. Jada Toys/Big Time Muscle 1:18 die-cast model vehicles don't sit on suspension springs/coils. Its just a rod and wheels like hot-wheels. Also, the detail on the engine bloc and seats are usually all made out of plastic. Maisto are far more better in quality. )

And why put them in a unsupervised situation, that is not punishment, to be home alone all day, sleeping in watching TV, doing whatever they want while parents are at work?
