Q: I'm not sure of the model but it's in nice condition. The only thing is the mileage. Would you still get it if it had 90,000 miles on it? Its $3,300.
If your friend has taken care of the car then it may be worth the price if you like the car and it still runs well. I have a 2000 pontiac sunfire and have had no problems with the car at 75000 miles. I would check OKorder motors to see haw much similar cars cost and kelly blue book to see what they say it is worth.
Q: HiI have a 2002 Lancer OZ Rally and it is my daily car.On weekends i used to do large trips in highways, and i wanta better response for the highway times (more sporty). The other day i have the opportunity to drive a couple of carsthat has adjustable damping (Lexus LX470) and i could change the suspensionresponse whenever i want to only by turning a small switch (Fromsport to comfort).I would like to know if i can get this kind of system from anycompany for my lancer. I would like to know which company, quality, costs (please not to expensive), and othe things. If it possible.Last thing, please do not answer anything like Buy another car orsomething like that, cause if that were possible i wouldn‘t be askingthis in the first place. Thanks
Maximo, you can buy anything these days, the question is should you? NO! Your car is fine, if you want more response, go for a slightly lower profile, high quality tire. Screwing around with expensive adjustable aftermarket suspension components will absolutely ruin your car.
Q: I have a good condition 01 camry and i want to put in a v8 engine. I also heard you have to get a new suspension system to support the new weight of the car and engine. how much would all this cost.
Engine swaps in rear wheel drive cars used to be a relatively simple thing. Doing this in a front wheel drive car is a nightmare I would not recommend, and packing a bigger engine and transmission under there and a whole new dimension to the nightmare. You will need to upgrade the suspension to support the weight, get new CV axles, rewire everything for a new fuel management system, install a larger radiator, etc, etc, etc. It is not worth the headache.
Q: recently my check air ride system came up on my dash. does anyone have an idea what that may intell. I am not that mechanically inclined and dont want to spend more than what is necessary to fix that problem. The car drives good but every once in a while i hear a buckling, poping sound from the bottom of the car, near the wheels.
before you go thinking you have a problem is the air ride suspension working okay as far as going up and down if its not go in the trunk and make sure the switch is on. If it is then just wait and sooner or later the failing part will show up unless its just a hiccup in the system and maybe it needs to be reset.
Q: Okay, so here‘s the issue. I bought a used car and I really loved. The thing is, the car is lowered. I guess the previous owner thought that was cool. But sadly it‘s not because every time I go over a speed bump, the parts underneath my car scrape against that speed bump. Anyways, so I wanna go about changing that problem. I was wondering what the difference between coilovers, shocks, springs, and struts are.
I'm a motorcycle instructor; I've been teaching the course snce 2004, and riding since '74 or '75. I would suggest that you take the course a second time. If you don't succeed the second time, then you're probably not a good candidate for what is, after all, a risky hobby. Bear in mind that the standard for the test is VERY LOW. I often fear for the well-being of students who pass! Quite a few students pass, while I feel that their skill level is insufficient to keep them out of trouble on public roads. So if you can't cross that hurdle, you're better off staying away from motorcycles. IMHO
Q: I have a white 1989 jeep wrangler with a current 6 inch lift and 35 by 17 goodyear tires. the condition of the suspension is extremely stiff and difficult to drive it to places over 30 minutes. i want to get a new suspension system that is more soft but still able to go off roading.
National Spring makes a great lift with a shackle reversal kit that has soft ride springs. It cost a bit, but it is a great ride once it is finished. Also, do not run gas charged shocks if you want a soft ride
Q: Is a wheel alignment necessary after shocks and struts are installed?
Could you be any less specifc? Is water shooting out of the pipe? Copper, Steel, PVC ? What size?
Q: Heelys type???
Well I bought my sons the torch version it seems very good with the grind plate and all but the double wheeled ones are pointed to littler ones for better balance. The reflex shoes I have heard bad things like suspension cracking ect. I would go with torch because of the grind plates and the price
Q: Matching: fuel consumption, power, comfort, control, safety, maintenance costs, appearance, interior, space, quality
McPherson is the simplest structure, but also the lowest cost of manufacturing the most widely used. It is mainly used in the majority of small and medium-sized car on the front axle. It is simply dominate the world. It is also because he is simple so he is light and responsive. And in a rock under the rock and the pillar of the geometric structure can automatically adjust the wheel camber angle, so that it can adapt in the corner when the road, so that the tires to maximize the ground area, and take up small space for small cars and most of the medium-sized car use. However, due to the simple structure makes the suspension stiffness is weak, poor stability, turning roll obvious.
Q: The rear axle of the car is rubbed by the stone.
Hanging rub suggestions or go to 4S shop to see it, can not see the map can not say ah, after all, security is the most important
