Q: i want to know the best brands for all categories like suspension, cooling engine and so on. andi meab everything like coilovers, springs and all the other parts under the same category. its for a 200sx by the way.
We prefer Eibach suspension systems because they fit and offer better sway-bars and end links. It's then up to you to find better tires, wheels and brakes. Afco makes double and triple pass radiators along with Howe and Griffin.
Q: What is the meaning of the car's suspension system?
In general, the car's suspension system is divided into two kinds of non-independent suspension and independent suspension, non-independent suspension of the wheel mounted on the end of an overall axle, when the side of the wheel beating, the other side of the wheel also corresponding beating, so that the whole Body suspension or tilt; independent suspension of the axle is divided into two sections, each wheel by the coil spring independently installed in the frame below, when the side of the wheel beating, the other side of the wheel is not affected, both sides of the wheels can be independent movement, The stability and comfort.
Q: the thing that confuses me is if it has a shell-like pot i thought the liner only came with the suspension system and sweatband if it does come with the pot-like shell, can it be used as a regular helmet?
The 'liner' is a collective name for all the gubbins that goes inside the helmet: the actual liner itself, sweatband, suspension-webbing, and chinstrap. Early liners were originally made of a compressed mix of paper fibre and resin, and later ones from plastic. They had their own chinstrap, in addition to the actual helmet chinstrap. It was an unecessary and clumsy addition, which was usually left fastened across the helmet's brim. You could feasibly wear the liner without the helmet over it, but you'd look like a tool and it would have no protective value. Hope that helps!
Q: i have an 1991 acura integrahow can i make this car lower to the grounddo i need to change the springs?
im in the prossess right now on my 95 gsr. i got some OKorder lowering springs very easy to do the front then the back bottom shock bolts broke so now i have to find a way to get them out anyway its ez just by some springs and rent a spring compressor from autozone or something. then its very easy from there on out.
Q: I have a 1998 altima and today I decided to drive my car on the freeway for fun again. As I kept covering miles and miles(60 miles) my car started to shake over 80mph. What could it be the cause of it? I rotated the tires, the mounts are bolted, axles are fine, transmission was replaced, tires are inflated proper lying and I replace my front and rear suspension. WTF is wrong with this car?

Q: I grew up with a mountain bike, which kicked the bucket a week ago. I have been riding 10-20 miles on it daily and really, the bike couldn‘t handle it. Because of the distances I‘ve been riding and the fact that I‘m scared of the super thin tires on a road bike, the local bike shop fixed me up with a performance hybrid. It‘s a beautiful bike with every feature I wanted.and I know it will do better with the distances, but i hate how I can feel every tiny bump in the road. Is this something I will get used to? are all bikes with thin tires like this, or is it because road bikes don‘t have shocks? I‘m really having buyers remorse and am worried I‘ll continue to be upset about the jarring sensation of hiting cracks in the pavement. I spent a great deal of money on this bike and want to make sure I did the right thing. Does anyone have advice? If it helps, the bike I got is a Trek 7.3 FX.
You seem to be dealing with the trade off of getting a bike with narrower tires and no suspension that does not absorb shock well. (I doubt, though, that your mountain bike had suspension if you grew up with it since suspension was only widely available within the past 10 years.) There's not much you can do about the jarring you're experiencing that won't defeat the purpose of having selected a bike with lower rolling resistance thanks to the narrow tires. The upshot of the lower rolling resistance is higher pressure in the tire (mtb tires max out at about 60 psi; road bike tires max out around 115 psi). That translates into almost every bump being transferred through the tires and into the frame and, ultimately, you. You could lower your tire pressure for a smoother ride, but there's two problems with doing that: (1) you lose a lot of efficiency that is the whole point of having a hybrid bike instead of a mountain bike, and (2) you may damage your rims or be susceptible to pinch flats. Here's a few other ideas in order of ease and least expense: (1) avoid cracks and road obstacles as much as possible, (2) rise out of your saddle when you can't avoid a bump and take weight off the handlebars as those parts of the bike pass over the bumps, (3) hop the bike over the bumps, (4) buy a seat post that has a built in shock absorber, or (5) install a carbon fork that absorbs vibrations better than aluminum (this is costly).
Q: its suspension had broken from sitting there it just needs a battery to run and good suspension for it?
Well that's not too general is it? You want an entire suspension system for a 30 year old car that. even when new, was pretty awful? Good luck with that.
Q: Can I add a suspension fork on my old Giant ATX 960 ? If Yes do I have to change the brake system ?
It will mess with the headtube angle too much and cause what's called, Wheel Flop. This is where the front wheel wants to flop over while turning a corner. This is dangerous! Furthermore, is the steerer tube compatible with suspension forks on the market today - 1 1/8 Threadless. Are you prepared for the expense of the unit it's self and the labor to install it. The guy below needs to get a clue as to inadvertently picking the bike's front end up 4 inches or so and trying to ride around, much less climb a simple hill. Any newer bike within the last 58 years has a much shorter headtube and a different angle to account for the increased height of the suspension fork. to keep the front of the bike down so you can actually stand over it and climb a simple little hill! Sorry for the length. Some people, I guess, just need it spelled out - maybe they should study frame design first and then make their comment!
Q: My engine is 6.0. How do I fix the overdrive situation on the push button on the column so I can get better mileage.
Check tire pressure and make them what the owners manual recommends. Then pretend there is a raw egg between your foot and the gas pedal and drive that way rather than tromping on the pedal; also try to look 5 cars ahead and if they have to brake for a light then you know ahead of time to let off the throttle and try to cruise through on the green. Also leave at least 1 car length space between you and the next car rather than riding his bumper. Check and maybe get a new clean aircleaner. Maybe you are in need of new plugs. Maybe your brakes are dragging. Maybe you got the wrong color of truck(not fast red-but guzzling green). The tires themselves, are they summer tires or got big lugs? One rolls easy and the other needs more power(and gas) to turn over.
Q: I Kelly Blue Booked the 2006 Corolla LE I have, and it is listed at $10,625 trade-in and $12,815 private party. It has 36,000 miles on it.Adding a $600 suspension system. what would that do to the value of the car? Would I see any of it in the resale value?
