Q: I was suspended awhile back and felt that I would get nowhere. Somehow, my appeal went through and was upheld and I was just restored. So, although the system still has problems, the fact that the staff was willing to look into a concern and correct it can happen, so I guess that makes me an object lesson. I came back from suspension. But, has the system worked for you? How can we, as members, make the system work better for all of us?
oh didn't you hear, the best Straighteners have paper plates
Q: In our circulatory system, blood transports blood cells and dissolved ions when it moves through the body. Which of the following terms is suitable for blood?A. Solution B. Suspension C. Colloid
check your struts if its hoppin that could b part of the problem. ABS light on means ABS system has shut down because somethin isnt workin right in it this will cause the brakes to lock-up try a diff type of brake pad too carbon metallic sometimes get crystallized under extreme heat and become useless. try a set of the ceramic anti squeel brake pads. check for leaks in system once it gets hot may dry up this water thats gettin in there. drain fluid and fill with new dot 3

Q: Im looking for a lift kit for my 1995 Ford F-250 3/4 ton 7.3L Powerstroke.Yes yes I know why would you want to lift a 2wd let alone a 2wd diesel. I also know that I would need a 6 in or higher to even get 4 in lift because the engine is so heavy. I want to lift it because when I tow heavy trailers it sags my leafs. I know most of you will say get stronger leafs, add a leaf, or even airbags but I just want an all around lift for it. If your the type to tell me you should have got a 4wd to begin with or should have got a Chevy, Dodge, or GMC im just going to delete your answer. I bought the truck when I was 17, it was in my price range and an all around good truck. It was either a truck or use my two feet to get me every where. Plus I already have two other 4wd, this is my truck that hauls them around when I need to move. Even if you guys have heard of a place that does custom fabrication its worth a shot.
Not sure about lifting the front other than replacing Springs with longer/stronger ones. I had a 74 Dodge long bed D100 that I used to move house trailers. On it I replaced the 1/2ton springs with 1 ton springs and put blocks between the axle and frame to prevent bottoming out. The longer 1 ton springs actually lifted the rear about 8 inches. There's also the option of getting longer u-bolts and putting a spacer/lift block between the springs and the axle with the springs on top. If you do this lift double check your driveshaft. lifting like this will result in needing a longer driveshaft possibly. I had to replace my single dshaft with a two piece.
Q: How can I make a car please tell me?
LOL Sort of like making a sandwich only a LOT more complicated expensive. Far cheaper to buy an already made car.
Q: Colloidal particlesA-tend to settle at an appreciable rate-are large enough to be seen with microscope-large enough to scatter light-large enough to be seen with naked eye
A colloidal dispersion is a system were particles are evenly distributed in a continuous phase of a different composition, whether it's solid, liquid, or gas. The particles are usually less than 1 micrometer. Milk is an example of colloidal dispersion (it's technically an emulsion). A suspension is a heterogenous (not evenly distributed) mixture of colloids that are large enough to sediment (usually larger than 1 micrometer). Sand in water is an example of a suspension. I'm not sure how appreciable is defined, but a suspension will settle out much faster than a dispersion. Given enough time, though, a dispersion will eventually settle out some, usually over a period of weeks or months. Suspension particles can be seen with a traditional light microscope since the particles are larger than 1 micrometer, which is where even the best microscopes reach their limit. They can also be seen by eye if they are larger than tens of microns (a human hair is about 50 micrometers thick). Dispersion particles under 1 micrometer can't be seen easily with a regular microscope, so use of a scanning electron microscope is necessary. Both dispersion and suspension colloidal solutions will scatter light. Use of dynamic light scattering will allow you to look at particles from 1 nm up to 5 micrometers, in some cases. If the particles are sufficiently concentrated, the solution will look like dilute milk (since it's an emulsion).
Q: the thing that confuses me is if it has a shell-like pot i thought the liner only came with the suspension system and sweatband if it does come with the pot-like shell, can it be used as a regular helmet?
The 'liner' is a collective name for all the gubbins that goes inside the helmet: the actual liner itself, sweatband, suspension-webbing, and chinstrap. Early liners were originally made of a compressed mix of paper fibre and resin, and later ones from plastic. They had their own chinstrap, in addition to the actual helmet chinstrap. It was an unecessary and clumsy addition, which was usually left fastened across the helmet's brim. You could feasibly wear the liner without the helmet over it, but you'd look like a tool and it would have no protective value. Hope that helps!
Q: what kind of upgrades can u put in a eclipse gs?(turbos, etc.)?
nos, head studs, turbo, better tires, exhaust, struts and springs, intake, or buy a Starion 1987-1989 come from the factory with a turbo and rear wheel drive. just bolt on a 16G turbo and take off the first cat converter located on the down pipe and you got a 300lb 320hp rear wheel drive car.
Q: I have a good condition 01 camry and i want to put in a v8 engine. I also heard you have to get a new suspension system to support the new weight of the car and engine. how much would all this cost.
Engine swaps in rear wheel drive cars used to be a relatively simple thing. Doing this in a front wheel drive car is a nightmare I would not recommend, and packing a bigger engine and transmission under there and a whole new dimension to the nightmare. You will need to upgrade the suspension to support the weight, get new CV axles, rewire everything for a new fuel management system, install a larger radiator, etc, etc, etc. It is not worth the headache.
Q: I was told I could buy 265/50/20 for my murano instead of the standard 235/55/20 is this true? I need a good all season tire. Any suggestions ??
