I have had both Asics and Mizuno's. (right now im wearing mizuno's) I personally like Mizuno's better, but its all up to a person's own foot to know for sure. My own teammate is an Adidas girl and her shoe work awesome for her. And for guys it seems Asics does the job well. Just try the different brands out. They are all made for volleyball (if they are the volleyball style) so not just one brand is going to AWESOME, and the other brand CRAPPY. don't let people sway or choice by popularity as im sure mizuno is the majority. Pick what fits right for you.

You only going to lift the front? Spring spacers will get you 2.5 if you get the 2.5 lift spacer. But it's just as much work as new springs.
