- Q: we just got it back from the mechanic who replaced the transfer case. when we got it back i noticed that the check air suspension light was on and now i‘m not hearing the compressor kick on. any ideas?
- He/she would have disabled the air suspension system to do the work. There is a switch to turn it on and off and I believe it's located behind the right kick panel in this car.

- The spindle lift changes out the spindle/axle component. If you place the original unit next to a raised height spindle the axles will be lower in comparison on the new spindle. It is called and offset. I raises the car by lowering the axle center line. A suspension lift raises the distance between the body and the suspension usually by taller springs.

- The possum would seem to be the obvious answer because it can suspend itself all day by it's tail. But then I remembered that the turkey has a wishbone, and I'm thinking this wishbone suspension is going to give it an edge.

I indeed want a convertible but i‘m not sure of the mustang‘s cloth top convertiblei‘m not sure if i would feel safe enough. But the Blt;W has a hardtop convertible that i like alot. But the mustang is still in my mind. I like that alot too. HELP?
- Do you plan to drive in such a manner that would result in your car being upside down? If so, perhaps you should not be considering a convertible. or any car, for that matter. The S197 Mustang convertible actually has better overall crash scores than the coupe version. I'm not sure why, but maybe it's because there is additional bracing underneath. If you're driving the car the way it's meant to be driven, which is with the top down, then a rollover accident is going to ruin your day regardless of which convertible you buy. Drive them both is all I can say. Yes, the BMW is more refined overall, and I like them OK, but they and their Z4 twins are about as ubiquitous as Toyota Camrys; they're just not special. There is nothing special about a Mustang, either. until you get behind the wheel. I am happy to say there are very few cars that I would trade mine for, and a garden variety BMW 3-Series ain't one of them. It's visceral, brash, unapologetically cheap in some areas, but it's just so much fun to drive. (What would I trade for, you ask? Let's see. you don't happen to have a Ferrari Daytona sitting around, do you?) Oh, one more thing: If you want a hardtop convertible at a lower price, get the VW EOS or Miata hardtop. I would think those would be more up a teenage girl's alley.

- Q: I've been taking proper care of this car since i've bought it.I've been keeping track of my mpg since day one, and just recently i noticed a sharp decrease in my mpg.I used to get 300-320 miles to a tank of gas, but now i only get 200-250.I got my oil changed to a high mileage 5000 mile oil, tires rotated and inflated, and all fluids flushed and filters replaced.It also seems to have lost some power.Occasionally, when I coast i get this thumping noise which sounds like i'm hitting small ridges or rope/cable laid across the road. the frequency reduces when the car slows down.What could be causing this? Are the two problems related? I feel the thumping appeared after my oil change. but the mpg reduction and thumping appeared close to each other.Any advice would be appreciated.

All have the 6 cyl automobiles. The mileage is averaged applying the Imperial Gallon (4.454 Litres in keeping with Imperial gallon) so the adjustments may well be little whilst in comparison with the U. S. Gallon (3.80 4 litres in keeping with US gallon) shop them nicely maintained, use completely guy made oils and tension nicely, no longer agressively, and that they are much low-priced automobiles to run. extra fee-effective than maximum compact automobiles.
