- Q: I need some advice! For my wedding we will be borrowing tables and metal folding chairs. I already have the tables planned out with white tablecloths and a fuschia tulle runner down the center. My problem is the chairs are really ugly and I need a very cheap idea on how to cover those. We are on a really tight budget ($3,000 for everything)as we are paying for everything ourselves. I was thinking of buying some tulle for the chairs and ribbon, but I wanted to know if anyone would have any idea what that would cost per chair? My colors are fuschia, yellow and orange. Thanks!
- Check for sales on sheets. One sheet set will cover four chairs. Another thing you can do is just make fabric covers for the chairs that are lining aisle or outside edges. The tops of the interior chairs would just need something for the backs which will save you a ton of fabric. They don't show up in before ceremony pics and will be covered by your guests' bodies during. You could dye or paint canvas or just cotton fabric. Mixing patterns of clearance material will look fine as long as they are in the same colors and will help add to the casual feel. Watch the paper and check online. Joann's and Hobby Lobby usually have a 40% coupon every few weeks that you can use on any item in the store, even on sale. This will save you a ton. If you are on their mailing lists they will send you some as well. I wouldn't use tulle unless you really need to. The chairs are going to show through it.

- some chairs do not go up and down but if your does there should be a lever somewhere around the base of the chair that lifts up and then to go down lift up on the lever and sit in the chair and it will go down. So just look under the seat for a lever.
- Q: What's a good computer chair that's less than $250 which has good back support and will last a while without having the cushion flatten or adjusters break?
- I have found the best is one of my old kitchen chairs. The height is right and you don't have to keep messing with it to get it just right. I use a chair cushion to make the wooden seat comfortable and have a small cushion for the back when I need it. You can just drop the cushions in the washer and dryer when needed and it will fluff the pillow up again.

- The chairs that I am most familiar with are Pelton Crane, KaVo Dental-EZ. I'm not really sure which brands have the largest market share, but I'm sure that if you contact individual companies, they'll know! If you want to purchase a chair, contact your local dental dealer. If you want to work for a company selling chairs, go to the manufacturer's websites.
- Q: My son recently participated in a regional honor band. The band consisted of 28 trumpets. They had to audition for placement. Hill Middle School, under the direction of Scott Rybolt and Jim Wade, traveled to Jackson, Mo. for the annual All District Band auditions. Our Dexter students performed extraordinarily well, said Rybolt, with 16 students from high school named to All District. - Q: My mother has an old rocking chair that i think had a woven seat cushion on it yrs ago, but it has since been ripped off during yrs of storage and use. - Q: He's 5 months old, and when I help him up into sitting position on the floor he needs only minimal support to avoid sagging sideways. He really likes to sit, but not so much in his bouncy seat, I think because it offers little support for his back. He sits much better on the (firm) sofa when we put him between my husband and me and he really enjoys looking around.I would like to get him more involved in mealtime (not eating yet for another month though) by putting him in a high chair (going to IKEA this afternoon to buy one) by the table, but I'm not sure if I should wait until he can sit completely unassisted.
- I'd try it out. He seems to be sitting well. Most high chair have back support so I don't think he'll need assistance. I'd buy one while you can because he'll need it eventually. I think having him involved with meal time would be great. My sister in law put her baby in he high chair and she would look around and play. She enjoyed it.
