- Q: Describe your chair.
- It's an office chair. It has a black base with 5 wheels. The seat and the back are rounded and covered in burgundy fabric. It's moderately padded, but not so much I want to fall asleep on it. There are (sadly) no arms.

- Well, I don't know if this will help you any but I work in an office and spend a lot of time sitting down. It would be nice to have a chair that has adjustable lumbar support, the kind made out of the microfoam like the new mattresses that have been recently marketed - you know the kind that conform to your body. This way if the back of the chair is adjusted to support your upper back, the lumbar is not over looked. Currently, I have only seen office chairs that support one or the other but not both at the same time. Also, current markets have chairs that massage or vibrate. These are extremely costly and who wants to plug in their chair to an electical outlet or recharge its batteries. I am thinking that if there were a way to create a warming or cooling sensation this might assist with the blood circulation and may be relaxing too. Just a thought. Hope this helps.

- You can get any wood to match with the right stain. Also, make sure that it compliments the tone without being too dark, or your house will feel like a dungeon. Try going to Lowes and looking at their hard wood flooring, the website's good, but if you went to the store someone there could tell you about contractors, and reccommend what kind of wood, not just color, would be best for you.

- Now he is a pro painter lol...In all actuality..if you refinsihs a antique chair like this...The value of it will decrease sometimes by 70 or 80 percent..i would take it to an antique dealer first and have it appraised..and ask them about refinishing...may I suggest also..when you ask a question here..and some of these people state they have done this or that for so many years...click on thier profile and check some other answers they have answered ..lol..I have seen some of these people a pro at things for so many years..that they would have to be 190 years old to do so...I hope I have that much energy when I am 190 years old!
