- I think taking a directors chair, ( they sell them in a lot of places ), and painting a scene on the canvas, of something interesting from a movie... or for example, a quote from a popular movie (one liners). We gotta get a bigger boatJAWS, There's no place like home THE WIZARD OF OZ, etc. Charactures from a Disney movie... Maybe a piano stool and write lyrics to one of your favorite songs.
- Q: We recently got a leather recliner that rocks back and forth. My cat is terrified of it. She is scared of the sound as you sit in it (this will wake her up and she will sit bolt upright and stare at it) and she gets very freaked out when you rock in it but once you recline it back - that's it - she goes and hides. It does not matter who is sitting in the chair - its the actual chair she is scared of. She is usually a loving kitty and never a scaredy cat so how can we help her overcome this? We don't want her to spend every evening hiding under the couch :(
- Cats don't deal well with changes in their environment. And a new chair is a big change to a cat. The way it sounds and the way it smells. It will take some time but she will get used to it and stopping hiding. The important thing is to let her adjust in her own time. You might try taking something that she has slept on and rubbing it over the chair, then putting it in the seat for a while. This will transfer her scent onto the chair. I used to have a cat that would stop in the doorway of my apartment just because I'd moved one piece of furniture 2 inches. When he finally came inside he would have to go around and sniff everything before he'd settle down. I hope this helps.

- Yes, you can spray paint a plastic chair without primer. There is a spray can product called Fusion, especially made for plastic. You will need to clean the chair really well for good adhesion. The Mr. Clean magic eraser sponges are the very best product for this job. You will be amazed how these sponges work. After cleaning, of course you will have to allow the chairs to completely dry before spraying. If you have a lot of spraying to do, there is a spray can attachment used like a trigger to spray the paint so your index finger does not go numb for two days. Yes, that happened to me. I hope my suggestions have been informative
- Q: I would like to get my boyfriend a nice chair for Christmas to watch his football games and play his video games in. I have a budget of a $1000 but if I can of course I'd like to spend less. - Yes, I think a chair is a pretty nice thought. Lay-Z-Boys are the best chairs... I would though, if he already has chair measure the depth of the seat. My sister got a love seat and your feet dangle because the seat is soooo deep... and it isn't very comfortable... So I'd measure that.. And also measure the width, because if there are any large people you don't want a chair that is only 30 inches wide, they won't fit in it... Probably look for around 35 inches wide. The depth you'll have to determine on your own, but ask the sales person if they recommend an average depth size... Happy shopping!! :-) and Merry Christmas...
- Q: I am getting married in September. It is an outdoor wedding in a garden. I have had a couple people suggest to me that I do not even use chairs for guest, only set up a limited amount for the people that are unable to stand. I would estimate we have invited about 200 guests or so but the garden is a very large site so they will have plenty of room. The ceremony should only last about 15-20 minutes, but I am still having doubts about everyone standing. Is it rude to make them stand around?
- the ceremony is 20 minutes but people will arrive as much as 40 minutes before the wedding, and, yes they must have a place to sit. and, be sure the chairs have space in between them. dont just jam them all together. ignore this at your own risk.

- If you are really concerned about it, why not explain to your daughter that high chairs are for babies and she is a big girl now. Tell her that there is a little baby out there who needs it and go with your daughter to drop the high chair off at a thrift store. Or, Offer her an option at every meal. Tell her she is a big girl now, and ask her if she would like to sit at the table with all the other big people. If she says no, don't make a big deal about it, just do the same every time. Or, you could just wait until she outgrows it. She will eventually, especially after she starts school. Good luck!
