- Hey...hey! I am a flooring associate from The Home Depot, and I feel like I've used Rug Doctor in my own place as much as renting them out when I worked in Tool Rental at my store. Using a Rug Doctor is great for your carpets but the carpet tends to dry out using it after 48 hours or so after using it. For your first question, you can put the furniture back in PROVIDED they don't come into much contact with the carpet. For example, I put my queen sized bed back in my room after cleaning it with a Rug Doctor since only 4 posts touched the carpeted floor. If you have a chance to grab a small throw mat or a bit of plastic sheeting, it would be good too for staying in the room. And here's a tip, be barefoot on the carpet during when it is wet. Keep the shoes and sandals outside or in another room, since wet carpet will attract any dirt under your shoes. You should be fine in staying in the room, provided you give places like under the study table and bed proper ventilation to let the carpet fibers dry out properly. If not, you'll have the water/cleaner mixture sour, and leaving a bad smell. To eliminate this, I'd strongly suggest putting in a box or table fan on the floor or even renting out a floor fan. They look like a large whistle, and they put out a lot of air, thereby reducing drying time for your carpets. Hope this helps out you, aboveaveragejoe

- DON'T USE SAND until they are a certain age or size. they eat the sand and can get sick. Reptile carpet is good for if they are sick, but look at the bark or the jungle bedding. Those will do better if it is small or young. Typically they are about 7.99 - 14.99 depending on how much you get.

- Q: I've recently noticed rugs popping up on my yards in the evenings, it goes down to around 4oC here at night right now, and all horses are in their own fields, not in a herd. - I also agree with the first answer. My horse is not blanketed during the winter and I live in Wisconsin where it gets pretty cold during the winter. He just turns into a very fuzzy horse during the winter. I do cover him after I have worked him so he does not get chilled then. Addition: If your horse is older, or possibly has issues keeping weight on during the winter it may be beneficial to blanket. But as long as your horse does not appear to be deficient in a winter coat then you should not have to blanket.

- Area rugs tend to feel like grass. Thus, a good place to go to the bathroom. They will also retain the smell of urine. My cats tend to have this problem when they are feeling neglected. It usually happens when no one is home for awhile. You come home to find their offerings! A little more attention to clean litter boxes and more individual attention stopped the problem. Good luck!
- Q: Okay so yesterday i mixed dawn soap and water together and scrubbed the spots on my floor to get these crusty spots that were left on my carpet from the carpet cleaner. the crusty spots went away but in their place small spots (smaller than the crusty resdue from before.) were left over and they were now sticky! I than tried washing off those spots with anti bacterial wipes which didn't do anythign, i vaccumed my floor twice and today i used a combination of baking soda and vingar to get it ou of my floor. Now i have merely one or two small spots but im aware carpet cleaner is rather toxic and hazardous and so I wanted to ask if it's truly carpet cleaner resdue stuck to my floor or if it's simply the dawn soap that won't come out. Please help for I am rather worried.
- First rinse and blot the carpet ( don t soak just wet to rinse) with white towels or white paper towels. Do this several times. If this doesn t work, then reuse the capet cleaner and do nothing but rinse and extract the water. Do this several times while drying the carpet between times to check. Sorry to say buy using dawn or any improper ingredient in the carpet cleaner was a mistake. Plus the use of a rented or home carpet machine isn t good for carpet. - Carpet doesn't get Air Bubbles - it's just not possible. What you have is a badly stretched carpet. It's bunching up... You need to either have it stretched or replaced.
