- It may be an issue of what your rug is made of. I had a similar problem with a synthetic rug and I had to hang it outside for weeks to get the stink out of it (we'd used a steam cleaner 4 times on it so we knew it was clean). Make sure you've gotten all the soap out of the carpet because that can actually attract more dirt! Also try cleaning the surface the rug was on. Sometimes the smells can get trapped there too. - Q: I want the Rambo turnout lite in a 5ft or a 5ft 3, but whenever I contact an intenet seller about this, they say that Rambo rugs only go down to a 5ft 6. Is this true? If so, it is very stupid. Especially as Rambo rugs are such a large fit. My horse is meant to be a size 5ft 9, but he's wearing the Rambo lite in a size 5ft 9 right now and it is hanging off him, I measured it and it's 9 inches too long.
- so I'm completely confused because generally people don't measure rugs in feet, it's in inches- sizes like 68, 70, 72... Rambos do run large- my mare has a Rambo and it hangs down to her knees. go with a different brand or look for pony sizes

I grabbed a bottle of Zout and started spraying it all over the spot, grabbed some paper towel, rubbed the carpet and dabbed the liquid up. then i sprayed febreze and vaccuumed it. - Is the zout you used for carpet? I ask, because I have never seen zout carpet cleaner, only zout stain remover for clothes. Carpet cleaners will state to try it on an inconspicuous spot to make sure it won't remove the color from you carpet. You may want to rent a steam cleaner at a local store, they work really well, and then your spot probably won't be noticeable at all.
