Q:I want to buy this shortsale house that has carpet that animals have used the bathroom on. The carpet is not worn and is a very expensive type. I was thinking that if I removed the carpet, set it up on saw horses in the back yard, and cleaned it using a mixture of bleach water and a pressure washer. I would then let it dry completely, spray it down with febreeze and then reinstall it in the house using new padding. Does anyone have any experience doing something like this? I did the same thing to my truck carpet but I know that was probably a little different.: My favorite method for cleaning carpets involves renting a carpet machine for the weekend, NOT buying the cleaner that they offer, and instead using lemon scented ammonia and plain vinegar with hot water in the cleaning machine. This is a very clean rinsing formula that will cut grime and pet odors without damaging the carpet. New padding is a must but you can clean the carpets and then pull them outside to dry while you replace the padding and mop the underfloor with the sudsy ammonia and vinegar mix. 2 cups ammonia 2 cups vinegar 1 full tank of hot water on the carpet machine Please remember! Keep all bleach and bleaching products away from the ammonia! Once the carpets and floor are dry the ammonia is dispersed and you will not have to worry about a negative chemical reaction in the future.

Q:I had my boss come over for dinner last night and his 15 year olD pooped on my rug and it stinks how can i get the stain out: try some diaper soaker .first try iit onsome part oof the rug that can't be seen in case it takes the colour of the rug out .then use it carefully ,not too much soaker.about half a cup in a litre of water get as much of the poop off as you can before you start then gently drawing the stain to the center from each side dab on the diaper soaker. you will need to put the soaker in some warm water. when you think you have got it cleaned up get a micro cotton towel and put it over the stain and stand on it .this will soak up most of the water .you may have to repeat this to get it all out .

Q:i have a cream colored rug and i got mustard in it..how do i get it ou? anyone know an old trick or any other advice????: yes and this works. get a white damp cloth (rag or towel) then get an iron. put the damp cloth over the stain and iron over it. The stain will be lifted off the rug onto the cloth. Use a white cloth so you can see the stain as its removed. If it doesnt work dampen/wet the cloth so more and try again! You can either dampen the cloth or dampen the stain with water. I do this all the time on my carpets and it works! goodluck!

Just wanted to read up a little bit about it.All I know is it begins with a B and lots of people ride with it still on the horse and just put a saddle over it.Any suggestions? :s: The trick is to flatten the rug out on the floor the opposite direction up, carry the front of the rug the two fringe of the neck beginning. Swing the rug up and over the pony so as that the rug lands the basically right part up. This needs to be finished on the basically right velocity so as that the rug sails over the back of the pony and lands interior the middle... think of of a matador's cape.

Q:I spilled hot hair removal wax on my carpet in two places in my aparment. A. Is there any way to remove the wax from the carpet. B. If there is not a way to remove it, does the whole carpet in the room have to be replaced or just the small area? C. How much does this generally cost. I would rather just pay for it myself than have the landlord try to bill me for it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.: Use some ice on the wax and try scraping off as much as possible then get several rolls of paper towels and an iron. Place layers of paper towels over the wax and place iron on lowest setting on top.Replace towels when wax comes through other side. Keep doing this until the wax is gone.

Q:My boyfriend and I have a mini fridge in our bedroom.
