Q: I recently purchased a new power cable for my HP laptop (v6000 series) due to the disappearance of my old one. When I first plugged in the laptop, I noticed that it did not charge. I thought this might just be due to the fact that the battery has been dead for an extensive amount of time, but after leaving the computer plugged in over night, nothing has changed. What can I do to make my laptop's battery charge?Do I need to have a more powerful power cable?Thank you all for your help.
probability is the relationship interior the back of your laptop (the place you plug your skill cord in) is broken. in case you have a guarantee i could propose sending it in for upkeep rather of attempting to repair it your self. I had this situation a pair years in the past with an previous pc of mine. I enable a chum of mine attempt and connect it (reason i replaced into stationed in Iraq and could not incredibly deliver it away for upkeep) It worked for a whilst after he soldered the relationship, in spite of the undeniable fact that it wasn't an eternal restoration and the laptop finally gave out a pair months later.
Q: I need the cable for my TV to be longer. It uses a 10A 125W cable, and all I can find (at a price I like) are 13/15A cords. Is it okay to use this in conjunction with the 10A TV power cable? It will be plugged into a surge protector if that makes a difference...
The 10 amp and 13 amp ratings are just the maximum amount of current those cables are made for. Your TV will only use 2 or 3 amps, so both cables are fine.
Q: I was wondering if it is possible to have flat power cables as i want to place my hdtv on the wall but don't want the power cable trailing down so that it looks like its levitating (i suppose anyway). I also want to do this for my mini hi-fi, as that is on a supporting wall and feeding wires through that is either not viable and/or out of my electrical range. I live in the UK, so would prefer a national company as opposed to foreign.
Hi Allotted, The best thing to do is cut into the wall and run the cables down the inside. By the time you have power, DVD/VCR, cable connection and a dozen other things you have a huge bundle of cables. Cut a opening behind the TV and run the wires down the inside to the floor. Make an opening to bring them out there. I did mine like that and while it took some effort the results were a great looking installation. Norm
Q: What are the causes of the power cable fire accident? How to prevent
Notebook does not have the opportunity to DIY. The reasons are as follows: Notebook motherboard non-versatile motherboard, the shape of the motherboard, positioning holes, screw holes are not uniform standards, each manufacturer's motherboards are their own engineers and then open factory production model. Notebook shell corresponding to the interface location, type and screw hole location is with a specific motherboard supporting.
Q: If Not What Do I Have To Look Out For Because Im Looking For A New Power Supply Fan.
there's no such thing as a PS fan. the PSU is self contained, there is a fan in the unit, but you can't replace just the fan. You will have to replace the whole PSU.
Q: This is in terms of military property acocuntability.
Like so many answers: it depends. A power cable for a desk top computer is usually expendable. A power cable running from a generator to a junction box is not. or property book will tell you what it is.
Q: I am upgrading a two-year-old higher end HP tower to include a mirrored hard drive. I did a little vacuuming and inspection and plan to order the exact model drive which is in there now. I noticed that the SATA cables used include a simple plastic latching mechanism in the connector. I checked CDW and found quot;latchingcables made by Startech which I assume should work (but the latching part is made of stamped metal). My biggest question is the power connector. The factory installed molex-to-SATA adapter also has this latch mechanism (on the black hard drive side), but I cannot find a cable anywhere mentioning a latch on the power connector. Is this something specific to factory installation? Thanks.
No. Latching cables as you call them are available at retailers. Try Newegg...
Q: I currently have a vibe amp wired in that my front speakers run off, im thinking about gettin an Edge sub with a built in amp so was wandering if id have to wire in a new power lead or if i could run them both of the one thats already running to the battery? Also how would i get rca cables running to each if i only have one output on my stereo? Thanks
yes i used the same power wire and just split all my wires for my second amp and everything is fine but i made a new ground for it. it will work fine but make sure you have a good battery or its gonna die, i made sure i got a life time warrenty so i can just take them back and get a brand new one whenever it dies.
Q: Only answer if you know it works with my kind of laptop, because If I order it and it isnt, i may have to end you. :D. I mean it in a nice way.
If you don't already have an OKorder account, you should get one - it opens up a whole world of bargains. Just make sure you buy from a seller with a 99% or better rating and over 100 sales. I have never had any problem as long as I have followed those guidelines. Good luck!
Q: types of computer cables and where they are being used?
For communication between devices in the computer, such as the hard drive and the motherboard, either IDE or SATA cables are used. For power, Its either a 3 or 4-pin power connector, though some things have two pins (like fan connections to the mother board). Also, the SATA devices use SATA power cables.
