Q:Imagine a typical chair, with legs perpendicular to the seat. It must support 135kg. The two front legs act as two supports. Instead of the back two legs, there is one support. This one support must be between the middle of the chair and where the two back legs would be. What calculations could I carry out to work out the load on each support for when the back leg is in different positions? Thanks!
Can we look at the cautions and exceptions to this model? First of all the back legs in a normal chair are not at the back of the seat but extend out further so they are under the top of the back of the chair or further. In addition, the center of mass of someone sitting in a chair is not in the center of the chair but is close to the bottom of the tilted back where the hip bones support the upper half or more of the body weight. Having said that, change the specifications so the 135kg is centered on the chair seat and the single support is moved in various locations from that center away from the front legs (and the chair itself has no weight) The distance from the front legs to the middle is D and the seat is 2D deep. The distance from the middle to the rear support is X and varies from 0 to D. When X is 0, then entire weight is on the rear support. When X is D, then half the weight is on the front legs and half on the support. Therefore the amount of weight in any position is F = 135 * (D / (D + X)) When X =0, D/D+0 = 1 When X =D, D/D+D = 1/2
Q:I am renting out white chair covers that include the sashes I have all the colors of sash that anyone may ask for. I am asking 2.00 per chair is this the going rate I started with 2.50 but not sure it was to much so now I am asking less.
we had my daughter's wedding out side in this structure that looked likr roman arches and it was great...seriously lovely and then she had a 3 peice instrument violins, cello and it was beautiful and we rented chairs and the only problem was that after the event what do to with the chairs? we ended up having one or two people stay and pack them...(they were the best) and then the chair company picked them up...and yes $2.00 was the price have you considered the arrangments of chair pick ups? or is this something that you provide? in our case it wasn't really a thought of theft but we did not want to chance having to pay for 'x amount of chairs just walking off ...good luck sounds great and i like the idea of having the sashes match a host of dress colors
Q:What computer chair is good? How to buy a computer chair?
General computer chair is sponge cushion, and good cushion cost is higher, so businessman basically can be on cushion. A good cushion features a thick, concave curve that fits the curves of the buttocks, supports and protects the body well, and gives you a comfortable sense of sitting.
Q:I have a wicker set in my living room and I have a house cat that sits on the chair
I think that leather would be best if the cat does not have claws. Otherwise, go with a microfiber and use a static bush to pick up the hairs
Q:My problem is I have a nice pedestal chair I don't want to get rid of, but I would much prefer the mobility of being able to move it without getting up. So, is there any (safe) way i could put some sort of attachment or mod on my chair?
A photo would be very helpful as there are several styles of pedestal chairs.
Q:I heard chair squats make your but bigger and i need a bigger butt so how do you do them and how many should i do to make my butt look better?
chair okorder /... Have a great day! And here is to a better, fitter you!
Q:The ink is from a belt. The color from the belt left the belt pattern on the leather chair.
I was looking for this answer just today, and 10 mins ago, I just tried Mr. Clean's Magic Eraser sponges to clean black ink from a ballpoint pen off of a light yellow leather chair, and it worked perfectly! After that, I just used my leather conditioner so it won't suffer, but these sponges are the best! I've used them before to clean stuff from my walls, it's great! Good luck!
Q:How do trans/cis play a role in chair structres?I drew out Lindane (Cis 1,2,4,5, Trans 3,6, hexachlorocyclohexzne)The Carbons on the 1,2,4,5 are not the same. They alternate between Axial and Equatorial. What exactly does Cis and Trans mean in this structure. I cannot find a pattern that relates 'cis or trans' to the structure.
For a cyclic hydrocarbon like Lindane, cis and trans refer to the stereochemistry between adjacent carbons in a flat representation of the structure. Cis means the bonds (in this case, C-Cl bonds) go in the same direction, whereas trans means the other direction, when drawn flat. If you draw a hexagon, the C-Cl bonds at positions 1, 2, 4 and 5 will have the same type of bond (either a wedged or a hashed bond, whichever way you draw it, but they must be the same). The bonds at the 3 and 6 positions will be the other type. However, when you draw the hydrocarbon in chair conformation, the rules change a bit. Draw in the first C-Cl bond on the chair structure for carbon 1, and check what position it is in, axial or equatorial. Then go to the next carbon and see what the configuration is. If it is cis relative to carbon 1, draw the opposite type (if 1 is equatorial and 2 is cis to 1, draw 2 as axial). If it is trans, draw the same (if 2 is trans to 1 and 1 is equatorial, draw 2 as equatorial). Next, go to carbon 3 and check relative to carbon 2. Here, 3 is trans relative to 2, so draw it the same as 2. Now go to 4 and check relative to 3. In Lindane, 4 is trans to 3, so draw 4 the same as 3 again. Then for 5, it is cis to 4, so draw it the other way as you drew 4. Finally 6 is trans to 5, so draw the same as you drew to 5. If 1 is axial, then 2 is equatorial, 3 is equatorial, 4 is equatorial, 5 is axial, and 6 is axial.
Q:I am repairing one leg of a mortise ant tenon teak chair. The joint has come loose and I dont really want to take the whole chair apart to fix one leg. I know you are supposed to rub the joint with acetone before gluing in up. The problem with that is that I cannot do a good enough job of cleaning the wood as the mortise and tenon is just loose and there is no real way of taking it apart. My question, id there a way of getting the glue sufficiently in the joing without taking the chair apart. Secondly, what glue could I use that doesnt require rubbing the piece with acetone. Thanks
There is enough variety of projects in here, big and small, intricate and simple, and you can pick out new ones as you progress in your woodworking abilities. It’s a great feeling knowing you made something by hand. It’s always fun to show off your craftsmanship, and ladies love it too!
Q:I been looking for hours online and all computer chairs have wheels :( I don't need to skate around in a chair. All non wheeled regular chairs look uncomfortable to sit at a computer. Thanks so much if you know of a place that sells them or even a model or whatever.
You'll have better luck with these search terms: Guest chair Reception chair Side chair These don't seem to be on rollers. I hope you find what you are looking for :)
