What you folks found useful for your babies?: We got the Fisher Price 'space saver' chair (the one that is just the highchair top and straps securely to any barstool or chair) and we LOVE it!! Our dining table is low, but we have a pub height table with barstools that we use at breakfast or for casual meals, so we can move it from table to table and always have her at the same height. I can even take it off the chair and set it on the living room floor with toys on the tray while we watch a movie. It converts to a booster seat down the road and will be really easy to store in a closet for future babies! It's also about $100 cheaper than similar models with legs. You want to look for one that's easy to clean and holds the baby at a good angle (some are too upright). Online reviews are always helpful for finding out this information before you make a purchase!

Q: It kills me that it seems like my son can only find comfort in his vibrating chair. He loves the bouncing motion, and that is often the only way I can get him to settle down. He is now 6 weeks old, we started putting him in this chair at about one week of age when dealing with his colic at night. It really worked to help settle him down.
