Q: Hey I'm trying to find a comfortable chair for long sessions at my desk. For games and for my **** ton of homework. I don't have a massive budget but I'm not too cheap. Oh and something with some sort of back support would be nice. Thanks :): It doesn't matter for what purpose you want the chair, but it matters whether it is comfortable or not to sit as many as hours in a day. As you talk about the budget, if you can afford $100 to $150 then you get the good chair. Here are some of the chairs which are really good for the respective purpose also which is in the budget.

Q: I am purchasing chair covers for my reception. My issue is to buy them only for head table and reserved tables or cover every chair. The chairs the hall have are plastic and better then metal, but I am unsure if I want to pay for all the chairs to be covered. Will it look funny if I do only a few tables to signify them as reserved?: As okorder or 2 a local fabric store -Joanne's) and do them yorself.

Q: I have a wicker set in my living room and I have a house cat that sits on the chair: I have microfiber couches and the cats have showed no interest in scratching them up. They also wear SoftClaws which are small caps on their front claws which prevents them from doing damage in case they do scratch. They sometimes leave tiny marks on the couch with their back claws but if I rub the couch a while with a cloth it goes away (at least if you rub the fibers all in one direction they are not visible). I also use a lint roller on the couch to get rid of fur (I didn't wanna get a gray-white-and beige couch! ;) ) Also get them lots of scratching posts of they are not declawed, then they will not want to scratch on your furniture. My cats have a scratching post in every room and they always use it. I have another couch which has rough fiber fabric - and they do like to scratch on that but it is very old so I don't care. Their claws snag in it and they like that feeling. So I wouldn't get any loosely woven/rough type fabric.

Q: after sitting on the chair for a period of time why do you eventually feel comfortable: The chair starts out colder than your body, and because metal is a good heat conductor, it conducts heat quickly away from your body. That makes it feel cold. It feels comfortable when it is the same temperature as your skin. Other materials don't feel as cold because they don't conduct the heat away from your body as well.

Q: Has anyone ever sat in a Zuo Pluto chair? How comfortable are they? They look so precarious and like your back would get very tired. But they look hella cool too. I can't decide if I should get one: While I agree that comfortable is subjective, I certainly understand the benefit of asking for the opinions of others. That said, here is my 2 cents worth: This chair is stylish and comfortable. It is designed to be comfortable and supportive of your back. My opinion is favorable so I would therefore recommend the chair to you.

Q: Came upon 4 Kittinger chairs. Look like dining chairs. No arms. Brass Kittinger tag on the bottom. Paper tags say pattern 2118 also serial number. Wood with striped pattern seat and back. Great shape. Any info would be great possible worth. Thanks.: www.okorder /

Q: i have one of those music chairs with the 2 speakers, and subwoofer, but is there a way to take that awful subwoofer out and put in a new one? theres not a place to unzip the chair or anything, but the subwoofer distorts on about every song that i play. and what can i replace it with to make it have a lil bass without distortion?: Interesting question...let's see if I can be of any help. The way I see it, you have roughly two choices here (3 actually, but I'll save it for last.) 1) You can take the chair apart to get to the speaker, take it out and either replace it with a similar one (like a car subwoofer speaker - check the Ohm rating) or get the broken one fixed. 2) You could bypass the subwoofer altogether - but you'd have to find the wires to it and carefully disconnect them without shorting them. Then go and buy another inexpensive subwoofer, hook it up directly to your receiver (assuming that you had a receiver driving the chair system) - making sure to place the sub right next to (or under) the chair - to get a similar butt massage effect from the bass. or 3) toss the whole mess out. graduate and get a real speaker/subwoofer set up instead. Hope this kind of helps. I was serious with the first two ideas, the thrid was admittedly a wee bit glib. Please forgive me.

Q: I want one that has a high back because I am tall, and importantly arm rests because my arms always feel uncomfortable in my current chair. I don't know why, maybe because of how the arm rests are shaped.I wouldnt mind if its leather.And I understand if you dont give a crap, but any information at all would be helpful. These are the chairs Hospitals use and Worker Comp. boards demand workers have in were repeat stress injury cases happen. They are unbelievable to sit in. I have $600 chair and it doesn't come near a SteelCase for comfort. They are worth every cent. Take a look at the Leap Work Lounge one could almost live in that chair.
