Q: i got a fi bl 15dual 2 subwoofer. im wiring it down to 1 ohm.now for the problem. lets say im wiring the positive terminals together. am i suppose to wire it all with positive wire or can i also use negative copper wire? i used two positive wires and one negative wire to hook up the three positive terminals. is this bad? do i need to make all of them positive silver wires?: Wire is just wire. It alone does not know positive from negative. However, some great problems could lie below the surface. It really depends on what is on the other end of the wire. There may be some problems associated with not following a good wiring practice such as: Creating a short circuit and blowing the amp Putting one of the two speakers out of polarity with the other resulting in lower or no acoustical output. The best practice is to ALWAYS relate the positive or PLUS terminal with the wire with the same designation with the speaker terminal. That way, if you have to do any trouble shooting, you can trace is back and know without a doubt what is connected to what.

Q: Is there special speaker wire in order to run 250 watts max rms or will the oem speaker wire in the car be sufficient (did not originally have an amp and is most likely at 50 watts max rms). If I need a special wire for that please let me know what it is called and possibly an example link. Thanks!: most likely the wire pre ran in the car was 16 guage wire which is fairly small id recomend atleast 12G for speakers and 8G for a power wire.

Q: What role does the neutral wire play?: Commercial city electricity comes from the power plant in the form of three-phase current. Don't forget to ground the black wire on the unit to the ground wire from the car harness. An extra ground strap to the chassis is a good idea also. If you don't have an amp or a power antenna, cap off the blue Remote/Antenna wire.

Q: I bought a cheap amp wiring kit so the ground wire is not the same size as the power wire but my friend gas me an extra piece of 8 gauge wire same as mine if i put both of these to on at the same time would it help out any? also he gave me some audio cable like the wires inside are twisted to gather the box says it gives you better sound quality would they make a difference in sound that the one's i have on there know?Thanks: NO, you need to buy thicker wire because electricity follows the path of least resistance which means if one of the wires is 1/8 of an inch longer than the other, that is the wire the most electricity will flow through, as far as the speaker wire it wont make a difference unless it is thicker than what you already have installed (its very hard to tell the difference in sound quality even with very high quality speakers

Q: What happens when you hook these 2 wires up right along each other?: if you have an rca tv which works with 12 volts.......if the wires not connected to battery...there no problem. if connected to battery....the fuse blows.(close to battery on wire)....if there is no fuse....wires burn...risk of fire....do not forget...every device works with car battery MUST and MUST be eouipped fuse .

Q: Hi, I'm extending my pc 5.1 sound system stereo cables. I have a M/F extension wire which I will cut to solder a seamless wire to the system. Problem is that in the system cable I have a white, green(or red) and bare wire. and ont he extension I have a black red and white. Which wire do I connect to which?thanks: It doesn't matter as long as you keep it strait, when ever possable connect a white wire to white wire, red wire to red wire etc...if you have like a green wire original but no green extension wire then I would use green electrical tape to color code the extension wire to the same color as the original, you can buy electrical tape in almost any color and wrap it around the wire and connector ends for color coding...
