- Q: OK, so pretty much this is where im at, I clipped the connector off the wires that went into my stock stereo and now have the wires from my new deck and pretty sure I just have to connect them. Is there A good diagram or tell me what goes to what here.... I'm a bit lost. Its to late to buy a wiring harness seeing as I clipped off the connector... so I dont need to here how I should buy a wiring harness. Thanks

- Q: has black wires.
- Two black wires in the box would be a hot from the supply and a switched hot to the load. If the timer has only two wires then it should be pretty easy to just connect them. If they are marked line and load then you would have to hook the wire for line to the wire in the box that is always hot from the supply and the other to the wire marked load. If you are still unsure then it really is not a job for you alone, enlist the help of someone with a bit more experience or even an electrician.
- Q: I have 2 connectionswire and wireless,im only connected to my wire how do I open a connection to my wireless?
- You first need to make sure that your computer has support for wireless(WLAN). If it doesn't then you can't connect to the wireless network. If you do have a wireless network card then you shoudl be able to click on the start menu and go connect to and then wireless networks. It can sometimes be found in the task bar on the bottom right of your screen
- Q: I have a 5 pin ignition. I have Black and red wire coming from behind the starter.Yellow wire on the other side of the engine that is connected to the magnet by the fly wheel.Where do I put these wires in the ignition switch. ____ ____ __
- You need to hook three wires into a five terminal switch? You aren't helping us much with any usable information. The yellow wire is the kill wire from the magneto. The black and red wires are hot from the battery and feed to the starter solenoid, assuming the switch has a start position. You need to check each terminal on the switch with an ohm meter to determine which function it serves and test the black and red wires with a volt meter to determine which one is hot now. Better still, why don't you specify the make and model, even the serial number if you can get it, and ask if anyone, including your local dealer, has a wiring diagram for that particular machine.
- Q: Phone wire outside was old is anybody done that, do it your self put a new wire on?, Just curious to know..
- anything after the demarcation (demarc) is your problem, anything on the telco side of the demarc is the local telco's problem. on your side, you can basically do what ever you want, but if you do it wrong, the telco has the right and OBLIGATION to disconnect your service. There are many sites on the internet that can instruct you in the Bell Standard Practice to wire your own phones. Just maintain the BSP and all will be right with the world.
- Q: Can I run a 10 gauge 2 wire plus ground from a double pole 30 amp breaker to a dryer that uses 240v? I need to know if the one black wire will be sufficient or if i need to get a 2 hot one neutral wire.
- You can use the 10/3 wire, but you wire it so that the black and the white are hot wires and the ground is the neutral. Of course you won't have the bare ground to use as a ground anymore, so if you want it wired with a bare ground to the cabinet, you will need to run a separate bare ground. Or get different wire with a red a black a white and a bare ground. Red and black will be hot, white will be neutral and bare ground will be ground.
- Q: I am planning to wire my single sub 400rms svc to my amplifier 400rms x 1 @4 ohms. My car model is 94 mitsubishi lancer. how many AWG ( gauge) should I use? Like for Power, ground, speaker wire. I just want to have the full potential of my sub and ampli. For my 2nd question: if I decided to put a 2nd sub wired it on the same amp making it 800rms x1 @ 2 ohms. (my amplifier is a class d mono 1600 watt peak by the way) should I need to use a capacitor?Thank you
- The power wire and ground wire should be the same guage. Here is a simple calculator to help you out. Good luck!
- Q: TRUCK WIRES, quot;orange,yellow,,red,,black,,white,,brownSTEREO wires ,,Yellow,red,black how do i hook this up right ? HELP !!

- Q: A 41.7-kg sign is suspended by two wires, as the drawing shows. Wire 1 makes and angle of 42.2deg with the horizontal and wire 2 makes an angle of 58.8deg. Find the tension in wire 1 and wire 2.
- To solve this, you have to find 2 equations, because there are 2 unknowns. Assume, Tension in wire 1 = T1 Vertical component of T1 = T1 sin42.2 Horizontal component of T1 = T1 cos42.2 Tension in wire 2 = T2 Vertical component of T2 = T2 sin58.8 Horizontal component of T2 = T2 cos58.8 Since the sign board is in equilibrium, the forces must balance each other. Horizontally, the horizontal components of both forces are balancing each other. Therefore, T2 cos58.8 = T1 cos42.2 T2 = (T1 cos42.2) / (cos58.8) -------------------(1) For the vertical components of the wire, both are balancing the weight of the sign. T1 sin42.2 + T2 sin58.8 = (41.7)(9.8) T1 sin42.2 + T2 sin58.8 = 408.66N ----------------(2) Combine (1) into (2), T1 sin42.2 + (T1 cos42.2)(sin58.8) / (cos58.8) = 408.66 T1 ( sin 42.2 + cos 42.2 tan 58.8) = 408.66 T1 = 215.66N Subst T1 = 215.66N into (1), T2 = (T1 cos42.2) / (cos58.8) = 308.4N Hope it is correct ^^
- Q: hey i have a 2005 toyota corolla soprt. i need help finding the remote wire, and some colors arent even on the diagram. please help i dont wanna have to buy another alternator and battery like i already have!thanks!
- Look for the gray wire in the harness. It would be much easier if you bought a wiring harness for $10 to $15. It avoids you having to cut up your vehicles existing wiring. 2005 Toyota Corolla Radio Wiring Radio Constant 12V+ Wire: Blue/White Radio Switched 12V+ Wire: Gray Radio Ground Wire: Brown Radio Illumination Wire: Green Power Antenna Wire: Black Front Speaker Size: n/a Front Speaker Location: n/a Left Front Speaker Wire (+): Pink Left Front Speaker Wire (-): Purple Right Front Speaker Wire (+): Light Green Right Front Speaker Wire (-): Blue Rear Speaker Size: n/a Rear Speaker Location: n/a Left Rear Speaker Wire (+): Black Left Rear Speaker Wire (-): Yellow Right Rear Speaker Wire (+): Red Right Rear Speaker Wire (-): White
