- Q: I have alot of wheels from the 1980's cuz i only ride the stuff from then. Well i have some of my wheels that the bearings will spread apart in once i have the wheel onto the truck. I would have the wheel to where it would wiggle on the truck so that way the wheel would spin nicely. But i have noticed that once i do some kickturns and what not, the wheel would start slowing way down and the cause of this would be with the bearings spreading even if i have spacers in each wheel. Some of my powell peralta wheels dont do it but a few of my other brand name ones do. Is there anyone that could give me some hints or ideas on how to fix this problem.
- Yeah guy. Of direction so one can be first-rate. I've performed that earlier than while I was once more youthful due to the fact I had not anything else lol. Yeah, simply positioned it on and roll your wheels and positioned extra on. Do that for a couple of days in a row and your bearings will probably be spinning and spinning and spinning!
- Q: does cold or hot temperatures cause skate bearings or any bearing to spin faster?
- if there just bones RED not swiss i guess they wont work as good in cold like in the heat because the cold causes humidity and if they get wet they wont work right
- Q: okay so i just wanted to know where i could get the bearing cage retainer( holds the bb's ) i came across a site but i want to find something thats cheaper in price but still last a good or long amount of time, and also they have the bb's but they dont say how much come with the purchase and dont know which brand is good.so if you know anything about which is a good brand please help me out.i want ones that spin good and good cage retainers.please give me the sites if you know any or where i can get them.oh and for skateboards just in case anyone missed that the first time.and dont write me saying just purchase them at a skate shop.i already have bearings in my tool box that need to be cleaned i just want to get some cage retainers and the right sized bb's.thanks.

But after some hard-earned googling I think we refer to them today as internal shaft bearings. - Q: What is the best lubricant for a skateboard ball bearing, made for bearings or otherwise?
- go to a skate shop and ask for lubricants and they will try and sale some regular lube but for my bearings i use bones lubricant. dont try and use grease lol that wont work. and if you buy pretty expensive bearings like ceramics or bones might as well get some good lubricant. dont over do it by spilling the entire bottle cuz ur gona get a lot of dirt in the bearings making it worse. another tip what ever you do dont use wd40 that will ruin ur bearings in no time. trust me iv dont it iv messed up some black panthers by using wd40, it makes them bust faster.
- Q: Can I put it on skateboard bearings?
- You can Just make sure it is high temp grease. I didnt see where it was for a skateboard. I think it was added after I answered the question. I was thinking it was for A hub bearing on an automobile.
- Q: i just purchased a boat with a tandem axel trailor. the left rear tire on the way home after about an hour on the road heated up to the point grease was oozing out all over the rim and the hub was to hot to even touch. i tore the bearings out today and was wondering if it was indeed the bearings causing this to heat up or if there is something else i need to do and if it was the bearings what i need to do and how i need yo pack the bearings back in and get this to end the problems. the trailor has trailor brakes but i do not have the trailor hook up in my truck could this have caused this and if so how i could disable the trailor brakes to keep them from catching. thank you for all help
- If the heat was caused by the bearings, they should be slightly discolored. On my tandem axle car hauler, I installed grease caps with zerk fittings on them. Before each long trip, I get out the grease gun and give each about 15 pumps. Since yours gets exposed to water, I would pull all and repack, looking for signs of corrosion, pitting or rust, and discoloration. Replace as necessary with new seals. Get the greasable caps.

- bones are the bearings most wanted, but people usually go with mhs or mini logos just because of price. as long as they spin, they will work. just don't go spend $150 on some bones swiss ceramic abec9 crap that are barely better than some random $10 bearings you can get in zumiez. btw for boards look at kracked skulls. you can find many 5% off discounts on line.

- It's all oil holes, but if it's needle roller bearings, there should be very little oil holes. We also do one-way needle roller bearings, but there are no oil holes, there are oil holes are generally reflected in other series
