Q: when checking white wire at the box it is cold when checking at the light switch it has power i am confused: The white (neutral) wire should bypass the switch. The black wire should run to and from the switch terminals, if it is wired correctly. This applies even if the light is wired hot (as they used to be back in the day). Sounds like someone has connected black to white somewhere. Is there correct current between the black white wires?

Q: Also what are FORD RACING 9MM SPARK PLUG WIRES i would be putting these on my Bronco....what do they do....do i need them?: Spark plug wires. The Ford 9mm wires are bigger then the normal 7mm ( I think ) wires. And when you have bigger then normal wires, the wire separaters that hold the wires on the valve covers need to also be bigger, hence the wire looms. No, you don't need the larger wires until you add to the ignition system and increase it's electrical capacity. But they do look better. Probably can get regular size wires in the Ford blue, too.

Q: im hooking a amp up and i need to run my remote wire to my ignition wire: I have wired up alot of amps and the remote wire on the amp should be connected to the power antenna/amp turn on wire on the stereo head unit. This allows the amp to only turn on when the stereo is on. If you are connecting an amp to a factory stereo,I see why you would need to find an ignition wire. You need to probe the fuse panel with a 12 volt test light to find a circuit that only comes on with the key. Usually there is a spare accessory fuse location just for this. Buy a fuse tap or specialty fuse from a auto parts store to connect your remote wire to. There is very little current draw to turn on the amp,so almost any circuit on the fuse panel will work if it is only on with the key.

Q: If I knew which wires went to trim, rpms,engine hours,ect... I could follow them. The engine wiring harnes is stil intact, but I dont know which wire goes to each no matter which end I look at. Like I said wiring is no problem, don't know motors.: get a repair manual.in the back it will give you the wiring diagram for everything on your car the color codes too. you will spend some time matching them up but at least you wilol know what is what
