Q: How do I tell which wire is positive and which wire is negative on the door speakers and the rear speakers?: Unplug the wires and note which wire goes where. then apply a battery to the speaker terminals, 9volt will work fine. If the cone moves out you have it connected to the proper + and - if it moves in then its backwards. With that you should be able to figure out which wires are + and -. Or you can just buy a service manual.

To fix this, you'll have to open up the controller and reattach/secure it. If the wire is exposed and is frayed, you'll probably have to get a new controller. This is very broad because you didn't specify the model of the controller. Some of the wired controllers use the normal Ps3-USB wire, while others do not. So, trying opening it up and securing the wire. If you're lucky and it's a Ps3-USB wire, replace it with a new wire. Otherwise, you'll have to get a new controller if you can't fix it.

Q: let me start off with I am not an electrician I just do basic stuff for side work I came in the project at the end. The lady wanted me to wire in 6 receptacles, a light switch and light fixture all on one circuit. everything is good except for the receptacle at the start of the circuit it has the lead/ hot coming in the power to the other receptacles going out and the power to the light going out (3 groups, 9 wires total). normally I would have used a junction box but I didn't pull the wire. How can I wire this. Would a 15 amp receptacle work?: A 15 Amp receptacle will work, of course, but the receptacle box is most likely already overfilled. So in order to keep the wire count down, your best way to go is to buy a receptacle that uses screw down connector tabs. (NOT the kind that you have to put the wire under the screw, but the kind that you insert the wire into the back and then turn the screw down to clamp onto it!) The receptacle is a little more money but it would be worth the expense to make this hook up work. Hot wire (Black): Connect all three black wires to the back of the receptacle on the brass colored screws. Common wire (White): Connect all three white wires to the back of the receptacle on the silver colored screw. Ground: make a short pigtail of bare copper wire (about 6 or 7 inches long). Then connect the pigtail to the other 3 bare copper ground wires using a wire nut. Then connect the other end of the pigtail to the grounding connection of the receptacle. MAKE SURE THE POWER IS OFF WHEN YOU DO ALL OF THIS SO THAT YOU CAN LIVE TO TELL THE TALE! :-)

Q: Im installing a motion sensor which comes with 3 wires,red black and white and want to connect it to a indoor light that only comes with 2 wires white and black.How do I go about installing them and powering them?: I don't know what the wires on the motion sensor are except red and black are your live wires, and white is your neutral. The two wires off your light are black is power and white is neutral. You should find the instructions for your motion sensor, it should tell you how to hook it up. Try searching for your model at yahoo or google.

Q: i got a fi bl 15dual 2 subwoofer. im wiring it down to 1 ohm.now for the problem. lets say im wiring the positive terminals together. am i suppose to wire it all with positive wire or can i also use negative copper wire? i used two positive wires and one negative wire to hook up the three positive terminals. is this bad? do i need to make all of them positive silver wires?: ok well either red or + is positive and black or - is negitive, the problem i have is you said you had 3 positives and one negitive on a dual coil sub,?? if you mean you ran all 3 wires to your amp then its wrong, if you mean you ran 1 wire to your positive,1 wire to your negative, and 1 wire from the other positive and negative together, then you have gone up to 4ohm and not down to 1, you should have 2 positives and 2 negatives, hooked together to make 1 positive and 1 negative as for the wire colors, they sometimes differ so you can tell them apart, providing your the one who screwed them to the amp, i run mine copper positive and silver negative, but each to there own.

Q: Which internet is faster and quality?: Use both. Wire up a couple of locations you use most of the time and set up wireless for when you want to move around or your buddy brings his/her computer over. There are wireless routers that also have wired ports to connect to. Switch off the wireless when you don't need it or aren't using it.

Q: plz answer correctly as soon as possible......why we use stranded 500kV wire?: After AWG 12 or 14, all cable is stranded. The only purpose of stranded wire is to give it flexibility, regardless of voltage or current. .

Q: Ok, bought this mower at an estate auction for next to nothing. It looks like its never been used. Previous owner ripped out all the wires to the ignition switch so it wouldn't sell I guess. It's the craftsman lt 1500. Model number 247.288812. It has the 17.5hp bs motor in it. Does anyone know the correct way the wires go to the switch? What do you recomend?Its an 89 thunderbird: As with all makes and model vehicles on the road, the best replacement parts is what it came with from the factory, in your case, Motorcraft is the origional equipment replacement ( OEM ) but they are usually available only from the dealership parts dept, which usually is a hard hit to the wallett. A good quality replacement set of plug wires that I use in my repair shop is Napa premium silicone plug wires, ( they also may carry the name Beldon ) They have a lifetime warranty for as long as you own your vehicle. They are fairly expensive, but they are good, I use them in my own vehicles. If I may add to that, I had a problem with one of the wires on my Ford pickup about a year ago and I have had those wires about 6 or 7 years I think, I took them back to Napa, and got a brand new set, no questions asked. My pickup has been running fine since.
