- Q: I am trying to replace the window switch for the driver side and forgot the order of the wires. Can anyone hlep me.
- The switch should just unplug from the harness---if you took the wires out for some reason, you'll have to check a wiring diagram or another Firebird or Camaro to figure out the correct pattern.

- Don't know where the hell you got a SIX wire plug from? Standard plugs are usually 5 or 7 pin. However, to answer your question, providing that you use the same color codes as we do, yellow is for the left turn signal, green the right. White is the earth, red for brake lights, brown for tail lights, and black for reversing lights (if fitted). That leaves the blue one as a spare which can be used to power an interior/ exterior work light on the trailer. In Australia and NZ we only have the 5 or 7 pin plugs. They are made by either HELLA or NARVA and each companies male/female plugs are compatible with each other. Google either company and see what is available. Hope this helps. P.S. For the cost of a return airfare and cigarettes, I am willing to come over and wire your truck and trailer for you AND I'll bring a set of plugs for free.

- If you are installing in-wall wire, look for wire with CL3 or in-wall insulation. The wire is not the issue, but the CL3 means the plastic insulation around the wire is fire-resistant and wont act like a fuse to spread a fire. Many fire codes require this. Some of the Carol brand from Home Depot is CL3 rated or buy a spool of 12 ga from PartsExpress.

- are you connecting this to an after market deck/stereo? well if so, it would have been a MILLION times easier to not cut the wires and just get a wiring harness, no need to cut any wires or anything... all you need to do is connect the wiring harness to the car stock stereo harness then plug it into the back of the deck so put your wires back to how they were, and get a wiring harness lol, only 5-20bucks i got mine for 5 off the internet.. my brother got his for 15 from wal-mart and they have them at best buy for around 20
